Half RAID System

Is it possible to setup my PC with 2 Hard Disk RAID 1 and another Hard Disk no RAID?

Is there a name for this kind of system? I try to google but cannot find anything useful.

Suggestion on 3.5K Rig

I am building a Rig for 25% Game 75% Work. Budget is 3.5K.
For my working, I will setup some VMs (for academic) on it. There will be 2 VMs running at the same time.
The rig need to have 2TB of Hard Disk and at least 8GB of Ram.

I am getting it by end of this month. Appreciate your suggestion. Thank you.

As per title, I need recommendation for a 3K CPU. I will use it 20% games and 80% work.
For my working, I will setup some VMs (for study and research) on it. There will be 2 VMs running at the same time.

I do not overclock and will only running a single graphic card. Please recommend me. Thank you.

Strata Title issued during SPA

I'm in the process of buying an apartment (freehold). During loan application and SPA drafting, the unit is still under a master title.

I was supposed to sign my SPA today but suddenly the apartment management place a notice to inform all owners that the strata title has been issued by land office. The developer will give the full details by 6 Aug 2009.

I have informed my lawyer and he said he will confirm with the developer and let me know again. So the signing of SPA is postponed.

Anybody have this kind of issue before? What is normal procedure taken by lawyer? Will it delay the whole sale and purchase process?

How much $$ to fix my pc?

My pc is running on Pentium 4 2.8GHZ. Motherboard is MSI. Bought around 4 years ago.

Since 1 years ago my PC has become very noisy. The sound is from the CPU fan.
During startup it is still ok but after 5 minutes, the fan going faster and faster and the sound is very loud.

Recently some weird things happen. After shutdown and turn off the power supply, on the next day my PC cannot start. I need to wait for around 15 minutes then it will start when I press the power button.

Other than those problems, my PC is working fine.

1. So does my CPU fan and Power Supply Unit spoil?
2. How much do I need to fix both?
3. What is the cheapest and realiable brand I can get?
