            <title>bad service? BLUR service? ASUS, ya, ASUS again&amp;#33;</title>

            <description>2012, valentine day, i bought a laptop for myself, an ASUS N45SL JAY CHOU MYSTIC EDTION. (date is just a coincident...  &lt;!--emo&amp;:wub:--&gt;&lt;img src='http://static.lowyat.net/style_emoticons/default/wub.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wub.gif' /&gt;&lt;!--endemo--&gt;)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;somewhere between late month of march 2012, the subwoofer 2.5mm output out of function.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;i take it to where i bought for claim warranty.&lt;br /&gt;after A MONTH AND A WEEK, it is back, all work well. i take it back with full satisfaction.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;BUT, (yes a but here), they change wrong motherboard for me, as they thought it is same.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;what i buy is special edition, but they thought the mother board is same with normal version.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What is the difference?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;well, special one, when press the on button, the 1st thing come out on the screen, is a series on ANIMATION of JAY CHOU WITH BACKGROUND MUSIC, is about 3 second.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;this function is configurable is BIOS, can turn the music on/off, and the animation too.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;but after service, regard what setting i have choose, no animation, only show the logo of ASUS, and the music, its CRACK.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well, i know a little bit about pc knowledge, so i check the version of bios, my mama, the version is not the latest on asus website, so i flash to the right one.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;but, same thing, nothing change.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;so, what should i do?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;yes send back to service.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;and wola, 2 AND A HALF MONTH pass by, 23/6/2012, FINALLY, IT IS BACK.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;they change my motherboard. but wait....&lt;br /&gt;what the f......&lt;br /&gt;they change my hdd, all mt data lost, the old hdd is rosak, they said.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;well ok, i guess is me who stupid bcos i dint backup.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;SO, i start it on the spot, haha, same things happen, i told the boss on the spot, he keeps say sorry.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;i was like  &lt;!--emo&amp;:furious:--&gt;&lt;img src='http://static.lowyat.net/style_emoticons/default/vmad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='vmad.gif' /&gt;&lt;!--endemo--&gt;  &lt;!--emo&amp;:angry:--&gt;&lt;img src='http://static.lowyat.net/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif' /&gt;&lt;!--endemo--&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;but then, i know the fault is not on the boss.   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;IS ASUS SERVICE BAD.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;boss told me he will direct call service center manager and tell him about this, meanwhile wait for his response. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;28/06/2012, thursday.&lt;br /&gt;Someone call me, he told me very sorry about what happened, he admit that is them overlook my problem.&lt;br /&gt;he provide me a solution, arange a pick up direct to my workspace , and when he got my laptop, he will REACTVATED the animation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;i agree.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;but today, i feel somethings goes wrong &lt;!--emo&amp;:hmm:--&gt;&lt;img src='http://static.lowyat.net/style_emoticons/default/hmm.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='hmm.gif' /&gt;&lt;!--endemo--&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What  do he mean ACTIVATE?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;i try to think about it, then here goes the email i send to him:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style='color:blue'&gt;Hello Marco,&lt;br /&gt;i have a few question to ask you, i have called your office phone few time this morning between your working hour but there is no one answering the phone.I believe your working hour is between 10am - 7pm, right?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1).Are you from skudai service center or lowyat plaza?if you are from skudai, then how do you activate it personally since you want to send my laptop back to lowyat?&lt;br /&gt;2.) Yesterday, you told me your technician overlook my problem, you said you can solve it if i send back the laptop to you then you can activate back, but what do you mean by activate?&lt;br /&gt;install the software?&lt;br /&gt;flash the bios? &lt;br /&gt;OR change bios setting by enable the &amp;quot;fancy start&amp;quot; &amp;amp; turn the &amp;quot;post logo type&amp;quot; to animated instead of static? &lt;br /&gt;if that so , then you can CANCEL the pick up service, because I HAVE TRIED TO ENABLE FANCY START &amp;amp; TURN POST LOGO TYPE TO ANIMATED in THE 1ST DAY I GOT MY LAPTOP FOR THE LAST SERVICE, &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;ALL I GET IS CRACK MUSIC, IT JUST WONT WORK.&lt;br /&gt;its not the bios version problem too, i flash it to the bios where i download from asus website.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So base on my knowledge i have to say that this problem is a result of a WRONG MOTHERBOARD, YES, AGAIN.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3.)I hope my guess is wrong, if that so , please inform me asap. But If you realize that it is not as simple as you think, &lt;br /&gt;please cancel the pickup service, if they come today, i wont give them, unless you give me a clear solution.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Please understand my situation, my work require lot of computer use, please note, a weeks without laptop is consider my maximum limit now.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A month or even more? Its pain in my ass.&lt;br /&gt;Lastly, thank you for your concern, please cancel the pickup service if what i say is right, driver only waste their time. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Reply me asap once you read this email, do call me once you have a reliable solution. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;and one more thing, i have call your office for 7 times when i am writing this email as i believe talk to you over the telephone is better, but no one answering the phone.
