As soon as they think a topic is vroom vroom they quickly close it or make it impossible to reply to to read more than page 1. /K/ Thx for any kind suggestion. I'm very worried. I need to take someone close to me to consult a good neurosurgeon in the morning after having done some research on the net as I think the condition will deteriorate with time if we dun take quick action. Which hospital would you recommend? Is the Damasara Specialist Hospital in Damasara Kim good? Thx again.

I wonder if anybody in /k/ knows the American actor Bruce Boxleitner,now 64. He was a young,handsome actor when he acted in this tv film and I'm looking for the title. In this horror film his character does some not so good things and he goes up very fast in his career. One day he discovers a mark on his neck. Soon this mark grows into a tattoo,covering his entire body. It was like a kind of curse or voodoo. I've forgotten how the story ends.

I will be grateful if anybody could help me recall the title bcs I wanna watch the short horror film again as it was very fine acting. I like the genre too. Thx.

Got an urgent question for the lawyer of the house. Kindly give me your objective views.

Can a neighbour sue us if there's a tree on our property that slants toward her property? I have a property that I'm going to put up for sale. There's a medium-sized tree that leans toward my neighbour's house. Even if it falls over the fence I doubt it will touch her house. I'm looking for an experienced contractor to fell the tree together with two large ones on the property. Lately I've been preoccupied with some family matters so I did not bother to attend to the tree. The neighbour is pressing me to fell the tree asap bcs she's saying her tenant has small kids etc.

I was away for a while and when I returned there was a poslaju card saying that there's a registered letter for me and that I should claim it in 15 days. I suspect it's a lawyer's letter from the b1tchy neighbour. I should chop down the trees bcs I wanna sell my property but she's making it look like I should chop down that particular tree bcs she wants me to do so. What should be my best move? Can I counter-sue her back if she really sues me? I think if it's a lawyer's letter it's just a threat bcs it would be very leceh to sue over such a small issue. Well,when a woman is involved there's no point talking logic. Thx.

I received 3 or 4 times sms from this # (1000) but I can't find any message at all. Is it some kind of scam where they deduct Rm1 or RM2 each time we open the message in order to delete it? It's simply daylight robbery!

The govt should crack down on all such blood-sucking syndicates. May God CURSE them LOL

NEED HELP/ADVICE

Hope you kind people can help me here.

My niece and her bf who are both from outstation are renting a room each in the same house in PJ. They stayed for just 2 weeks when the landlady told them she had got her application to migrate to the US approved (which I think is bullshit). Her children are all there and she's divorced. She's 60 or older. She gave them 2 months to shift but they told her they would shift at the end of this month.

Suddenly for no rhyme or reason she became very nasty to them - won't let them use her washing machine and removed all their plates etc from the kitchen tabletop. Last night at 1 a.m. she knocked frantically on my niece's door,screaming that a pipe had burst and putting the blame on the 2 young,frightened kids. She threatened not to pay them back the RM2.2k deposit they gave her but they have all the receipts and cheque/bank pay-in slips as evidence. The money is actually mine bcs I lent it to them. They are both very young and have just started working. Her parents would not allow them to live together,hence two rooms and high rentals.

I believe this woman is doing a conjob bcs she needs money. Has anyone here gone through the same experience with this woman?

Her name is LOKE MEI LAN and the address is 11A Jalan 16/12 46350 PJ,in Taman Tan Sri Lee Yan Lian.

Please advise how I'm going to get the deposit back when the kids shift out at the end of this month. I'll take over if she insists on deducting or on not paying the deposit. Should I report her to the polis or the tribunal? She thinks they are easy prey bcs she thinks they have no family around. Her place of work is too far from my house or I would have taken her in. RHB Taman Megah SS24 PJ Branch Big Bully Bank

I have been renting a safe deposit box from RHB (formerly Kwong Yik Bank Bhd) Taman Megah SS24 Branch for umpteen years. I forgot to pay the 2012 rental but around 20 Nov 2012 I sent a cheque via Pos Malaysia bcs the rental expiry date was 30/11/2012.

In August 2012 the Customer Service Officer sent me a reminder so I called him to ask why he asked me to call him and he said laughingly "To pay rental for SD box". The idiot DID NOT mention it was for the 30/11/2011-29/11/2012 rental which was due on 30/11/2011. Why did he NOT say so even after I said, Still so early. It's only due on 30th Nov bcs I had thought it was for the 2013 rental

Out of the blue I received a reminder on 10/12/2012 asking for the rental which had expired on 30/11/2012,NOT the one that had expired on 30/11/2011. And the suddenly I received a final reminder dated 31/12/2012 which only arrived on 8/1/2013 (Pos Malaysia is a true blue snail mail) which says the following THREATENING and kurang ajar words which I quote

"...Please take note that if you do not comply with the above request we will terminate the above Agreement at the end of 14 days hereof in accordance with Clause 9 of the Agreement. On termination of the Agreement all the property deposited in the box shall be removed by you (on payment of the arrears of rent)and the keys returned to our Bank.

In the event of your keys not being returned to our Bank within 6 months from the termination of the Agreement,our Bank may pursuant to clause 12 and 13 of the Agreement,break open your box,sell all or any of the contents of your box and apply net proceeds in satisfaction of arrears of rent and all sums for which you are liable under the Agreement. Alternatively,the contents may be kept in some place at your own risk at double rent from the date of termination until the contents are removed by you."

My questions to this BIG BULLY bank are :

1) Why did they NOT call me on my handphone unless they do not have my number which I doubt?

2) Since they received my cheque for the 30/11/2012-29/11/2013 rental on 6/12/2012 (yes indeed it took Pos Malaysia nearly 2 weeks to deliver the cheque to the bank!),why did they NOT use the cheque to pay for that rental first? When I managed to get them today they were suddenly so honky-dory about it and said they could use the cheque to pay the rental that was in arrears and I could take my time to pay the latest that was due on 30/11/2012? Why did NOT they think of this earlier? And all the while I had thought that I had already paid the rental of 30/11/2011-29/11/2012!

3) We CANNOT call the bank direct now but must call a 1300 number which will make you press all kinds of stupid numbers but there was no service for SD box enquiry. Why do we have to keep listening to an electronic voice and idiotic music which makes our blood boil when we truly really need to talk to a real human being,not a dead machine?

Honestly,these days banks are NOT providing an honest service at all by using electronic devices to serve customers who make them rich. What about very old illiterate people who suffer from electronic-phobia? Would they be able to press this and that numbers??? In fact,I feel thoroughly abused by RHB and they owe it to me as well as to all their customers to reply to this complaint. I have a mind to write to all the papers to complain about the threatening and kurang ajar final reminder. Just sent two reminders and call it FINAL! In the first reminder it was stated that it was the 30/11/2012-29/11/2013 rental which was in arrears instead of the 30/11/2011-29/11/2012 rental that was in arrears.

I wonder if anyone from customer service of said branch would bother to give me a call to explain the idiocy of sending such a threatening reminder! If I can find another box to rent I would bcs all I keep there are family treasures of sentimental value and I do not wish to continue enriching such a bully bank. Mind you,the rental per annum is not cheap,even by today's standards.
