Internet always disconnect

HI all... I have just bought a new ( self assemble) computer. I am using Vista home basic (original).
With this new vista, i seem to have a lot of problems connecting to the internet. Most of the time when i which to connect, it will give me an error saying unable to connect. After trying a few times, then only can... even when i did not change anything. Once connected, after 15 mins or so, i will not be able to load any pages even tho it says i still connected. I must disconnect then connect again. I am using streamyx. No problems when using my old laptop with the same line.
Is this common for Vista users? Any help will be great. Thanks in advance

Most of my PDA programs hang :(

Hey guys...

I owned a Hp 2490 (using WM5). Not long ago, my PDA got some problem, so send for repair. They formated my whole PDA so i asked them to reinstall some programs. This is where the problems start...

They install alot of programs untill i felt it was a little slower that before. But now, most of my medical programs cannot work. The programs can load with no problem, but once i click on anything, it just hang. But once i press the 'X' button, it will close in bout 5 seconds. Then i will get a msg saying " Storage memory is critically low. Must increase storage memory to start programs. Delete files or move it to SD card" BUt then , most of my programs are installed into the storage card anyway. I dont even know what to delete. Other programs like games and application work well. I still have 54 MB of free storage memory.

However i noticed something. Under "My device" ,there is a file called "Medical program Backup" (not in the SD card area). The are only 3 out of 10 medical programs in here and strangely, these are the ONLY 3 that work out of the 10. Not sure if its a coincidence or not...

Can u guys help me? Thanks a bunch ....
