Mayfair Sri Hartamas

Hi,

I am thinking of Mayfair at Sri Hartamas and I'm just wondering if at > RM320k - RM330k the studio still has any legs for capital appreciation?

Also, is having a high floor an advantage for studio or will the buyer / renter not care about this?

I am also confused about the actual size of the smallest unit.. some agents listed at 408sqft, some at 410sft.. some at 438sqft.. and some even at 508sqft etc...

How many different sizes are there actually for the studio lol...

Thanks!

Ok so i'm flying from Heathrow and there is no option to check in via mobile here.

I've checked in online and I am given a page showing that 'This is not a boarding pass' and I have to print and exchange that page for the real boarding pass at the airport.

I don't have printer so is it possible for me to just show that page from my mobile?

Has anyone got any experience?

Hi guys,

I'm earning around RM3,600 and I'm thinking of moving out of my parent's house.

I would like to live out somewhere comfortable (so no low cost flat) but also affordable close to KL city centre, preferrably in a studio or one bedroom flat. (dont like sharing)

What amount of rent do you guys think I should be able to afford? Car installment is RM600, other than that no other commitments.

Any place to recommend?

in b4 dbkl flat

I have a friend (girl) who always plays with her phone when we were hanging out. I'm kinda pissed off with this at times since it's a waste of my time and i feel like biyatch slapping her..

Don't worry about me being friendzoned as I have no interest in her whatsoever.

Any reason why is this? I have no problem when hanging out with my guy friends.

Well...no..it's only 1.5times better than KSC75...but remember i still haven't found my perfect fit. (probably increase to 2 with better tip)

My wallet hurts but still, i'm more than happy with the purchase.

I'm on the edge of spending RM 1400 on Shure SE530PTH (formerly known as E500 PTH) (This is IEM btw) and I want someone to tell me whether this purchase will be worth it or not.

It's a lot of money and I am sort of afraid that I will regret my purchase... but the temptation is strong... the dark side of the force is overpowering me as we speak.

Bring me to the light side of the force, I beg you!

Or..maybe the dark side of the force isn't that bad after all, eh? whaddaya think?

Piano Lesson. Where and how much $$$?

Hi there,

I am in Scotland right now (following my parents) in the process of completing my secondary education and I've been thinking that my life has been mainly biased towards formal education only which is not healthy, and till now I have never expressed any desire or interest to study piano. But that is about to change. (Have a bit of keyboarding experience in the music class at school, but I never paid any attention to the class anyway because the teacher didn't really bothered to teach us anything)

Since I am coming back to Malaysia next year, and I'll be about 17, will it be recommended for me to attempt at learning piano seems I'm a little too old already? (knew a guy who got grade 8 when he was 11 or 12.. so.. I think i am far too old for this thing)

Also, how much does a piano lesson costs at a monthly basis, with every lesson on weekend only? (preferrably a day a week, I will have to juggle my study of CAT - foundation for ACCA - and the piano lesson...) Hopefully it will not be so ludicrously expensive..

Should I look for certain college or private tutor? Which one is cheaper and well.... better? (I know that you can never put cheap and quality in the same sentence lol)

Anyway, thanks. Looking forward to see some responses sooon.

Sony Vaio or DELL

Posted this in one of the Dell thread but a new topic is probably a good idea so that I can get a whole range of responses..

Do you guys think that spending 7k++ for Dell XPS with loaded specs is better than spending the same amount of money for a Sony Vaio with so-so specs and not-so-good warranty policy????

For the same amount of money as a Vaio, I can get faster, better RAM and HDD, 3 years warranty + completecover and better graphics card.... on Dell....

The only thing that excites me abut Vaio is the...umm...appearance...that's it.

Should I just go for the so-called "first-class" vaio laptop or the Dell XPS?

(Fully-loaded XPS M1210 or Vaio SZ series?)
Diploma + Degree or CAT?

Hi,

I'm currently doing exam for my Standard Grade in Scotland (equivalent to GCSE and SPM - but compared to SPM this exam is easy) and will probably take Higher course next year. (equivalent to AS, but can still gained entry to UK universities - just not the top one like cambridge or oxford, needs Advanced Higher for that)

So, my problem is, since I'm going back to Malaysia after I have finished my studies, I'm thinking of doing diploma + degree or CAT as a stepping stone before I move on to ACCA. Which one is the safest and most practical route to ACCA? I'm a relatively good student but I'm not a genius. What are the chances that i'm going to pass my CAT if i put enough effort in it?

Anyhow, if i get GOOD grade in my Scottish Higher, I will probably apply for scolarship to gain entry to UK universities, or if not, try to get myself enrolled in UiTM CAT course since both of my parents are lecturers there. (currently in Scotland with me doing PhDs - my mother is an accounting lecturer)

If it any helps, I'm a Malay.

Any advice on this would be highly appreciated.
