Scam call from "CIMB"?

Got a call from 03-2742-4300 saying they're calling from CIMB that they're selling some insurance from Berjaya Sompo that include personal injury and death. Wtf?

Then she asked me to agree for them to take RM50 every month from my bank account for the insurance.

I said no, I need to call CIMB to confirm this shit. She then admitted she's from a telemarketing company representing Berjaya Sompo. I then said I wanna check with Berjaya Sompo, she said if I hang up this one time offer will be gone.

Confirm scam lah lol wth.

Today she called again from a different number, I hung up. She then contacted my father's phone number. Wtf X2.

Just wondering how my information got out as she knows my age, bank details etc.

Since the merger, their social media platform full of complaints:-

1. No promo code for weeks and months liao.
2. Fare increased despite promising no price hike.
3. Takes very long to get driver. 15-20mins.
4. App UI not as good as Uber, always server down.
5. Give dumb GrabRewards
6. Not customer centric anymore
7. They miss Uber.
8. Monopoly sucks (dunno why talking about Grab but complain about some boardgames also)
9. Grab drivers now suck.

Travel Essentials

I would post this on Travel & Living subforum, but it seems more appropriate here.

Travel noob here.

You are going on a (sort of bagpacking) vacation to Europe for a little more than two weeks (16 days), what do you pack?

You are travelling across a few countries on a budget airline, so you've also got to pack light.
Limited to one ~~mid sized luggage and a bagpack~~ cabin bag or a travel backpack .

It's summer and a little beach action is expected.
A lot of walking, no real "fancy" or "nice" place to be apart from some fancy restaurants and museums(?)

What I have on my list so far, excluding some obvious ones like toothbrush, passport, handphone charger etc:

1. A zip-up jacket and a pullover hoodie.
2. A pair of jeans.
3. A pair of comfortable walking shoes.
4. Slippers might just buy a pair at the beach.
5. A pair of sunglasses. (anyone selling their wayfarers or aviators pls thanks
6. 2 pairs of chino shorts. (brown and khaki)
7. A pair of board shorts.
8. 2 polo tees.
9. 3 pairs of plain solid coloured tees.
10. A cap. Do I need one? Just feel like I need one.
11. 2 books for the transits.
12. A trusty point and shoot camera and tripod as opposed to my dslr.
13. 3 pairs of ankle socks.
14. Travel size perfume and deodorant.
15. A thin towel, takes up less space and dries up quickly.
16. Baby wipes. (I find these excellent for all situation, also hydrates your skin for long hauls in the plane or bus)
17. 2 powerbanks. (always need to charge up)
18. A rugged belt.
19. A watch, my trusty orange colour Casio F91W. (not the most stylish but reliable, has multiple alarms, weightless and indestructible)
20. Contact lenses and travel size solution.
21. A shit ton of underwear, after packing all of the above in, I'll fill up the spaces with just underwear, or until I run out.

It's my first real "bagpacking" experience, so any sifus here can tell me what I can do without, or what I should add to my list that's out of the obvious.

Feel like getting a leather jacket for the trip too, but not too sure about spending 800-1k for something I will not use frequently when I'm back.

I get to do my laundry at the apartments I'm staying, but probably only really gonna do my laundry half-way thru when I visit a friend's place in UK.

So I think my clothes should last me that long.

What's a good "travel look" for always looking nice in pictures haha, if that's a question.

Volunteers/paid workers at orphanages, old folks homes and other charitable/care homes. Were you ever required to do "street fundraising" and seek donation from public places like restaurants and on the street. If so, how do I differentiate frauds from true altruism and acts of kindness?

When I see these volunteers on the streets I always hati lembut and give some donations.

They always show those kesian pictures in the home and some "letter of authentication" make me cornered into giving money when makan alone.

But I want to know I'm not being duped.

SO my friends and I just finished our major final exam.
We're thinking of things to do to spend time, without spending excessive money on luxury hotels or theme parks.

Any suggestions on what to do?
Besides hiking the over-crowded Broga Hill, Gasing Hill and Tabur Hill.

Preferably something more relaxing, fun... we don't mind getting dirty.
Anything interesting as well?

We wanted to go clam-digging to hunt for lalas in Pantai Remis, but apparently all that's left there are shells.
Would be great if any of you know where we can go dig for clams, within the Selangor/Pahang/N.Sembilan region.

Reconfigured the modem

Hi I'm using a D-Link Modem Router.

My desktop recently died, so I decided to reconfigure my modem settings.

I connected my laptop to the modem using LAN cable,
and setup the internet as usual.

Everything was working fine.

But when I unplug the LAN cable and connect to the wireless network I had just setup,
I get no access to the internet.

It says I'm connected to the wireless network.
But I cannot gain access to the internet without the LAN connection.

Signals are excellent, my smartphone can connect to the wireless network,
but not the laptop.

So, dear sifus.

What do I have to do so that I do not need to connect via LAN
so I can carry my laptop around the house without being bound to the table. =.=

Guitar Maintenance

Hey all seasoned/pro musicians.
I just bought a secondhand SX Les Paul Custom from customguitar.
I have always been using an acoustic guitar, and the maintenance is quite simple.

But FYI, I bought this guitar just 2 days ago, and the condition isn't that good.
the seller modded quite some stuff in it.
but the whole body is quite dirty.
you could clearly see grime and oil on the fretboards, body, bridge...etc.

Now, can you recommend me
-good guitar cleaning agents/cloth/scrubs for different parts.
-techniques to clean body
