Most suit pants are made of polyester or "polyester + wool", like those in Padini and G2000. Malaysia's weather is too warm, so I prefer linen suit pants. I seldom wear jacket. Anyone know where to buy linen suit pants? Which brands? TQ

Can we repay car loan within one to two years? Why is it always 3, 5 and 9 years (i might be wrong)?

Can I borrow 20%, and pay 80% downpayment? Will the tax department investigate me? Just wanna to reduce the hassle.

Based on year 2011 (up till Nov) car sales statistics in Malaysia, the number of models for entry level cars being sold is as follows:

Column indicates: Model; Number of cars sold; Market share for entry level non-national cars

Toyota Vios 27818 54.15%
Honda City 10948 21.31%
Kia Forte 5291 10.3%
Ford Fiesta 4068 7.92%
Mazda 2 1793 3.5%
Peugeot 207 1452 2.83%

What's your comment on the statistics? Why Toyota Vios so popular compared to Honday City and Kia Forte?
Honda City looks not that popular anymore with Kia Forte picking up!

Looking at the statistics, looks like Vios is the most popular one, but then which car will you buy?

Maintenance Cost

I plan to buy a new car for long term use, for instance, at least 10 years. So, resale value is not under my consideration. I put much consideration on maintenance cost. Can anyone please comment about maintenance cost for the following cars? I have also included the car price as at Jan 29, 2012, and the cars are sorted with lowest price first.

1. Peugeot 207 1.6 (A) RM72,888.00
2. Toyota Vios 1.5J (A) RM76,090.00
3. Kia Forte 1.6 EX (A) RM78,800.00
4. Ford Fiesta 1.6 Sedan (A) RM78,888.00

6. Honda City 1.5L S I-VTEC RM85,480.00

What are the maintenance cost of the cars? Which one has the cheapest maintenance cost? Which one is the most reliable? And by how much the maintenance cost and reliability compared to other models? How much exactly do I have to allocate per year for car maintenance?
