How to Bypass Email SMTP SSL Authentication?

I am trying to use an email program which does not support SMTP SSL authentication, i.e Postpet V2.1. However, many mail servers (including free and paid servers) have implemented SSL authentication in their server, so I am having problem in sending out my email.

Is there a way to bypass SMTP SSL authentication, so I am able to use Postpet V2.1 to send out email? I heard that Stunnel can be used to do the trick but I just too noob to understand the technical part of it even after reading its tutorial..

Is there anyone who is able to help? Any software which can be used to bypass SMTP SSL Authentication?

Thank you in advance.

Streamyx down up to a month since Sept 2006

My streamyx was down since 06 Sept 2006. Complaints through phone calls and emails have been done many times but until now the problem is not rectified. I am able to login to streamyx, however, I can't browse at all, almost 99% of my browsing are giving me "Page Not Found" error. I have taken my CPU and my router to my sister's house at Puchong there and tested there but there is no problem with my streamyx connection at Puchong there. However, I am really having serious problem with my streamyx connection at Ampang here. My ping test to www.tm.net.my --> (conducted at Ampang)
Ping statistics for 202.71.97.48:
Packets: Sent = 1003, Received = 636, Lost = 367 (36% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 19ms, Maximum = 48ms, Average = 21ms

My ping test to www.yahoo.com --->
Ping statistics for 209.131.36.158:
Packets: Sent = 338, Received = 190, Lost = 148 (43% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 222ms, Maximum = 255ms, Average = 226ms

My ping test to www.mofile.com --->
Ping statistics for 211.144.104.161:
Packets: Sent = 72, Received = 35, Lost = 37 (51% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 654ms, Maximum = 711ms, Average = 683ms

Basically, I just can't browse the internet at all!!

My ping test to www.tm.net.my conducted at Puchong --->
Ping statistics for 202.71.97.48:
Packets: Sent = 20030, Received = 19463, Lost = 567 (2% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 9ms, Maximum = 658ms, Average = 15ms

A technician came to my house and helped me to change my streamyx port sometime in mid of Sept 2006, however, it couldn't solve the problem as well.

By using the same CPU, hardware and router, but with streamyx connection at different area gave me extreme connection result and ping test. My problem has persist for a month. I even went to their HQ at Cyberjaya personally on last Friday to complaint on this matter. From their Customer Service Officer, Leonora Siong Kuai Peng from TMPoint Cyberjaya, it was found that Streamyx staff / technician was closing my report all the time whenever I complaint on the same problem and repost the same complaint number. I am really disappointed and angry with such bad service provided by Streamyx. I have just complaint to Consumer Affair on this matter. I am hoping my streamyx service can be restored as soon as possible. Anyone can give some good advice in this matter, please?
