Does anybody know a reliable car body shop to repair my Wira roof?

My Wira top roof is getting "bubble", I want to find a car body shop knows how
to repair wira roof from inside the car, but not to repair from outside of the car roof.

I am from Taman Sungai Besi area in Kuala Lumpur..

Does anybody knows where I can duplicate a safe box key in KL?
The brand is Chubb.

Will the bank accept a duplicated safe box key? Or they accept only the original key?

Can you share what discount or gifts did you get when you buy your
Preve Executive CVT or Preve Turbo?

I found the highest discount for Preve Executive CVT is RM 1300 from
carlist, and the discount for Preve Turbo is RM 2000 from carlist.

Can anybody recommend a good Proton SA in Kuala Lumpur?

Can Diyomate K3 use component cable?

To buy Proton Preve Turbo or Executive CVT..?

I am struggling whether to buy Proton Preve Turbo or Executive CVT..?

What I like about Proton Preve Turbo are:
(1) For safety - ESC, traction control and brake assist
(2) For safety - 4 air bags
(3) For convenience to climb hill or over take - Protronic / shifttronic gear box
(4) Auto cruise - nice to have it.

What I don't like about Preve Turbo are:
(1) Turbo engine - I do not drive fast so I do not need it
(2) Turbo engine - high fuel consumption and high maintenance cost. And I am worried if Proton knows how to fix it..?
(3) The ignition device for push start engine - high maintenance cost (need to recharge battery, and it may get faulty
if your drop it on the ground, it cost more than RM 500 for a new set) if comparing to traditional ignition key like in
Proton Executive (only cost RM 3 to duplicate).

I prefer to have ESC in my car for safety purpose, but I most likely will buy Preve Executive CVT because I do not like
the Turbo and push start ignition key, what do you think?

Aircon not cold in traffic jam, only cold in 60 KM

My wira air-con is not cold when the car is stooping in traffic light, or during traffic jam, or
during driving low speed like less than 40 KM.

The air-con will become cold when the car accelerates to 60 KM or more.

What is the problem with the air-con?

Is it air-con belt problem?? Or something else..?

I forgot to add:

When I start the engine and turn on the air-con, the air-con is cold,
but if driving in less than 40KM, the air-con will become not cold,
it will become cold again when driving more than 60 KM...

Proton Preve is not a global car but cut cost car

Yesterday I went to check out Proton Preve (Premium Spec) in a proton show room.

I got a shock when I noticed Proton Preve has welding joint on the
door side. Please see picture for the location of the welding joint.

A good quality and solid car should not have any cut cost and less safety
welding joint on the door side.

The car in the picture is Proton Gen2 (in China) that does not have any
welding joint on the door side.

The Proton SA and I checked Proton Persona and Proton Saga BLm in the show
room, we did not see any welding joint on Persona and Saga BLM.

My Wira has welding joint on the door side which I do not blame because
I understand Wira is an old model of proton car

Do you think proton Preve is a global car??
I doubt it...

Reasonable price for Wira radiator fan motor

I sent my Wira to replace radiator fan motor (Nippon Denso brand), the car workshop
charged me RM 215 for part and labor, was it expensive?

Also to replace Wira clutch cable, they charged me RM 125 for part and labor, was it
expensive?

Bad used car shop lied low car mileage to customer

This is my second bad experience to deal with an unprofessional used car dealer in
Kepong about 4 months ago.

Below is the story:

I found a used car on Mudah that I was interested in.

The car mileage shown on the ad was 20000 KM, I was happy with the low
mileage and I thought probably I would buy this car if I could bargain for a
better price.

So, after checking google map, I arrived at the used car dealer shop to check
the car, when I looked at the meter board, my heart dropped to the bottom..!!
The mileage was 44K, but not 20K as advertised...!!

I asked the dealer why the actual mileage is much higher than the mileage on the
ad? You guess how did this used car dealer (his name is Newson Lee, a very rude uncle)
answer me?

Newson Lee said:
"If we do not advertise this low mileage to attract customers, then no customers will come
to our shop..!!"

What is the hell..!! I was very angry with his answer...!!
This suddenly gave me a very bad impression, and I was worried I could be cheated on other things
if I buy this used car from this unprofessional dealer..!!

If you were me, what would you feel??

Why used car shop wants $200 deposit 4 test drive?

I was wondering why used car dealer wanted to take RM 200 deposit
from me then they only allowed me to test drive their used car?

They claimed that this RM200 deposit would be used as my car booking fee and
this RM200 was not refundable if I did not want to buy the car if the car was
in good condition after the test drive.

This meant I had to buy the car if I was satisfied with the car after the test drive,
otherwise, my RM200 deposit would be forfeited.

If I was not satisfied with the car during test drive, I must gave a good reason
why I was not satisfied; if not, this RM 200 was not refundable..!!

Of course, they also required a copy of IC from me for the test drive.

I finally did not test drive the car and I walked away..

Do you guys think this RM200 deposit for test drive make sense?

This car dealer is somewhere in Selayang, do you think this car dealer is a scam?

Inspira 1.8 CVT vs. Persona High Line

If I want to buy a car for practical use, which car is better?
Inspira 1.8 CVT or Persona High Line?

Most of the time I will use my car in KL, sometimes I will need to go long distance to
Penang.

Considering Inspira 1.8 CVT is offering RM 9K discount now, and Persona is offering
RM 3.5 K discount. Apparently Inspira 1.8 CVT is a good buy now.
