As you all know that SST will be end on 30th June 2022 and we need to register the car before this date to enjoy the SST rebate. Any idea on what NEW car that can be purchase now that can register car before 30th June 2022? Looking for SUV below RM130k.

Help needed on withdrawal of EPF for 2nd house

Dear All,

I had purchase my first house in 2009 with joint name with my wife. We have the bank loan with joint name as well. At that time, both of us had withdraw our individual EPF account to purchase that house. Somewhere around 2015, we had refinanced the bank loan account to other bank and this time the bank loan account is only with my wife name. But property is still with joint name.

So my question is how can i get my EPF out to purchase the second house? Heard that is impossible unless i sell out the first house.

What if i transfer the 1st house ownership to my wife name only since the bank loan is wholly under her name? (not sure this can be done or not) then only i free up my name to with draw the EPF again for 2nd house?

Or is there any better way to workaround on this issue. Appreciate all for your advise and opinion.

Rent out apartment with fully furnish enquiries

Hi all,

This is my first time renting out an apartment. I got something to ask. i am going to rent out my apartment unit with fully furnish. With LCD, fridge, washing machine, water heater and some etc electrical item. Let say within the tenure, there is some problem with the electrical item, who will bear the repairing cost of this electrical item. Is it owner or tenant.

Let say owner had to bear, does it feel a bit unfair as tenant is the one using it. If share cost between owner and tenant still can be acceptable.

Just to make this clear before renting out. if really owner is the one who bear i rather rent out without those item with a few hundred bucks lesser.

Hope any one can enlighten me on this..
