Recently i borrow RM5k from company's personal loan for fun. Interest PA is 3.88% monthly tenure only 12months so monthly need paid RM416 deduct from salary. Interest around rm194 only. So question is what to do with this RM5K? i put in EPF account 3 generate more interest then 3.88% then cash out? Or any other investment i can put on to generate more than 3.88%? kindly advice

Contacted a cleaner nearby my housing area Shah Alam for a 2 hour cleaning, this Saturday all my family members all outstation so they leave it to me alone at home to supervise the cleaner. The cleaner whatsapp me to prepare water bucket, vacuum cleaner and some dry clothes. So i need to monitor her during the 2 hours or what or let her do her thang

Those who hired cleaner before please gib advice. And no, she is not hot, just normal mak cik but she told me her husband RIP in Indon already and she stay alone at a rented room nearby my house. She will walk to my house.

Story is like this...

I have a double story house, now currently joint name with my little bro, seems like is time to split as we agreed that i will be buying/owning the house fully while my little bro will get some of the $$ from refinancing the house and buy elsewhere. So my question is.

Let said the house loan balance left 500k, but value of the house around 650k.

Q1: can i refinance around 650k?

Q2: Currently have a hire purchase loan of 50k if i opt for fully settlement, will it be financially wise to 'use' that balance of refinancing fund to settled my hire purchase loan? let's said after refinancing if 650k, i will get back around 150k, give my bro 50k, i left 100k, i use 50k to settle the hire purchase loan and i'm left with 50k. Yes house installment will be higher by few hundred but is it worth it?

Hire purchase loan repayment: 1k
House loan if refinance 650k: extra RM400+
Balance: Rm600

Need some advice here from u guys. Just to know some feedback tqvm

EPF dividend not looking good

KUALA LUMPUR: Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) contributors are expected to receive a significantly reduced dividend compared to last year's rates of 6.1 percent for conventional accounts and 5.65 percent for shariah savings.

A source familiar with the matter said the dividend for conventional savings was expected to range from 4.8 to 5.1 percent, while shariah savings could be between four and 4.5 percent.

The source said EPF was slated to make an official announcement today, barring any unexpected changes.

"However, the rates are definitely much better than commercial bank interests for fixed deposits. Under the circumstances, they should be acceptable, especially those with high savings in their accounts," the source told FMT.

The source added that although the rates had decreased significantly, it was the most optimal outcome achievable by the fund considering the performance of the worldwide financial markets during the past couple of years.

EPF's dividend payout for conventional savings have ranged from a low of 5.2 per cent (2020) to a high of 6.9 per cent (2017) over the past decade.

Last month, economist Professor Dr Yeah Kim Leng of Sunway University told FMT that most international funds, including EPF, were expected to record losses or report poor performance for 2022 due to rising interest rates which have battered capital markets last year.

He said sizeable parts of EPF's portfolio were in fixed-income securities and foreign stocks, which had a major impact on its profits.

to name a few, there is lots more. Anyone here bought it yet? They do have a floor price though, if that project is hype up the floor price will increase as ROI. During new launches, they sell for 0.01 to 0.2 eth which still affordable.
