Families want cops charged with murder

http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/...ed-with-murder/

GEORGE TOWN: Aggrieved families of the five alleged members of Gang 04 who were gunned down by police on Monday demanded that the authorities haul the shooters to court.

Accompanied by their lawyer, Seri Delima assemblyman RSN Rayer, families of the four deceased have lodged separate police reports but with the same contents at the Jalan Patani police station here.

Only the older Gobinath family did not lodge police report last night.

In their reports, the families said they were not satisfied with the police press statement that the deceased were gang members and were wanted for several murders.

They reported that they saw several bullet marks on the deceased when they were called on to identify the bodies at the forensic centre in Penang Hospital.

“We want the authorities to take firm action on those behind the brutal killing of my son,” said VR Murugasen, 52, father of the deceased Suresh.

Police shot and killed the five during a raid on an apartment unit in Sungai Nibong at 4.30am on Monday.

They were Gobinath Jayasooryam, 31; Ramesh Raganathan, 27; N Rakan, 25; Suresh Murugasen, 25; and Gobinath Myavanam, 21.

Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar had claimed that the five were notorious gang members involved in 10 murders and two attempted-murder since last year.

Initially, family members said they would not collect the bodies until a second post-mortem has been done.

But they collected the bodies last night after the police assured them that there would be no cover up in the case.

Rayer said the police had informed him and the families that they would not conceal any forensic evidence or facts of the case from them or the public.

“The police assured the families that they would be transparent and truthful in the full forensic report, which should be out in few days time,” said Rayer.

The funerals are expected to be held today according to Hindu rites.

Execution-style shooting

Police sources said records showed that except for the younger Gobinath, the rest of the deceased had past criminal records.

Large crowd, mostly family members, friends and relatives had gathered outside the forensic centre at the mortuary premises since morning upon hearing news of the killings.

Many were in tears and shock while some were upset and angry.

The families demanded IGP Khalid and state police chief deputy commissioner Abdul Rahim Hanafi to explain why the police resorted to brutal killings instead of apprehending the five.

They questioned the police on why they failed to arrest and charge the five in court if they were truly criminal suspects.

The older Gobinath was supposed to tie the knot next month.

Rayer, who was at the scene, questioned the police on the need to carry out an execution-style shooting when the raiding party could have apprehended the deceased.

He recalled similar execution style police shootings taking the lives of six ethnic Indians in Tanah Merah and Kulim several years ago.

Many who spoke to the press alleged that the police had covered the truth, practised double standards, committed brutal murder by abusing the law and planted the guns after the shooting.

“If (it is) true that the five who shot dead other people were sharpshooters, then why were there not a single policeman injured,” asked some.

Showing photo images of the killings, which had gone viral on social media, they alleged that the police had killed the deceased in their sleep and not in a crossfire as claimed by the force.

They said photo images and identification at the mortuary allegedly showed that each deceased was shot at point-blank several times.

Rayer said initial forensic results showed each deceased had been shot between two and five times.

Suresh’s mother, R Parimala, 47, said her son had called and talked to her on the phone at 3am, some 90 minutes before he was was gunned down by the police.

“He was shot four times in his sleep. Why?” she asked.

Family members and friends of the deceased alleged that the photo images showed guns had been wrapped with cloth in the left hand of some the deceased when they were right-handed.

They showed a photo image of a dead younger Gobinath, who is right-handed, having a gun in his left hand.

Friends said Gobinath can’t even lift high his left hand after undergoing an operation several years ago.

Wall street vultures targetting asia.

I remember last time, I watched financial news.

All the investors said, to invest in Asia after the western market is gone (starting from subprime)

Now, it seems Asia's market seems to be going 'down'.

I suspect someone's messing with the markets to bring down prices even further, so they can come in and buy up stuff here real cheap.

Wall Street vultures now coming to shop shop shop in Asia, so be prepared for winds of financial destruction.

They move in flocks, from countries to countries, regions to regions, swallowing people's properties for cheap after making their values plunge.

They will corrupt governments, working hand in hand with them to devalue what you own, then buying it from you real cheap.

Hong Leong bank is a notorious lying bank.

http://www.thestar.com.my/Business/Busines...on-suprima.aspx

The newly launched Proton Suprima S is poised to be the "game changer" in improving the standards and qualities in the national carmaker's cars and changing public perception on Proton, Hong Leong Investment Bank said today.
It said the launching of Suprima S would enhance Proton's product range offerings and help to regain back market confidence and market share.

"We expect Suprima S to receive positive response from the public, similar to the previous launch of Saga SV in mid-June, which has received over 20,000 orders," said the investment bank in a note.

The new Proton variant priced between RM76,000 and RM80,000 and has successfully obtained Australasian New Car Assessment Programme rating of five stars and claimed to be superior to other same class hatchbacks available in Malaysia market, which are priced above RM120,000.

The bank maintained "buy" rating on DRB-Hicom with unchanged target price of RM3.36 based on 20 per cent discount to sum-of-parts valuation. - Bernama

If you're a pretty face and paid well.

You better make sure you gather some good useful skills while you're still young.

Because by the time you hit your mid 30s and you still don't have skills, talent, and don't know what you're good at, your pay will drop like a rock.

The only reason people hired you is because you're a pretty face to lighten up the company and motivate the men, your colleagues.

But once you outlived your usefulness as office decoration, and still have not gotten useful skillset in demand by corporations, prepare for pay cut, and career stagnation, or even career devolution.

Even more true if you are a pretty face that cannot handle people or don't want to deal with people.

Betul tak? So pretty face must cepat cepat korek as much as they can or meet rich senior colleagues in the corporation, get married off and be a leech to him for life.

How many of you observed the career progress of a pretty face with no talent and people skills ?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-23...l#ixzz2cL9LmEgU

High Court judge makes legal history after sanctioning sterilisation of a disabled man, 36, because it is in his 'best interests'

Man, referred to as 'DE', and his girlfriend already have a son born in 2010
Case launched because 36-year-old incapable of making the decision himself
Justice Eleanor King agreed another child could cause 'psychological harm'
First time in British legal history sterilisation has been ordered in this way

By Steve Doughty, Social Affairs Correspondent

A disabled man will have to be sterilised because it would damage his life to have any more children, a judge ruled yesterday.

Mrs Justice Eleanor King said the man, who has a mental age of between six and nine years, was deeply distressed when his girlfriend became pregnant four years ago.

The child is now being looked after by his grandmother.

However the judge decided sterilisation ‘was in his best interests’ as he could not be relied on to use condoms or other birth control methods to prevent another pregnancy.

The 36-year-old, who can only be referred to as DE, is in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend – who also has learning difficulties.

While he is dependent on his parents, the court heard that he had got to the stage where he could catch a bus, go swimming, or go and buy a coffee by himself.

The judge made it clear that DE’s relationship with his girlfriend, which was disrupted by her pregnancy, should be supported and the couple ‘should be permitted to resume their sexual relationship’.

But she said that having another child would threaten his hard-earned independence.

And she insisted that the vasectomy would let him have ‘as normal a life as possible as soon as possible’.

‘DE is unequivocal in expressing his wish not to have any more children,’ she said.

Claiming the ruling would be in his best interests, she added: ‘DE’s hard-earned achievements, whether they are learning to swim by imitation as he can’t process spoken instruction, or getting a bus on his own, must be treasured.’

The application to sanction a vasectomy had been made by the man’s NHS trust, supported by his parents, GP and the local authority that organised his care.

The ruling in the Court of Protection is the first that has seen a judge order a man to be sterilised.

The decision is the latest in a series of controversial judgements made by the court, which has been criticised for making secret rulings about people who are unable to manage their own affairs.

Why so many akua work in hair salons?

One of the reason I don't like going to Cainis hair salons is because 9/10 times I end up having my hair cut by akua men.

They all are effeminate. Women seldom cut men hair, they cut only women hair.

I always end up having my hair kena cut by akua.

Not cheap also, pay 2 times more compared to getting hair cut by Muthu. At least Muthu no homo.
