URL redirection with MD5 Value using javascript

I cant seems to get this function working.. the idea is to pass few variable entered in contact form and goes to online payment page. The problem is to get the MD5 value by combining the price, OrderID, .ndcorporate which is the merchant id and verifykey. This value will be assigned to vcode. Any clue?

CODE

function my_redirect() {
var verifykey = "1b469d0628a34gt3989676084bad9626";
var price = document.getElementById('get-amount').value;
var orderID = document.getElementById('get-orderid').value;
var vvcode = md5('+price+'.ndcorporate.'+orderID+'.'+verifykey+');
var url = 'https://www.onlinepayment.com.my/MOLPay/pay/ndcorporate/? amount='+price+'&orderid='+orderID+'&vcode='+vvcode+'';
window.location = url;
}

edit: the md5() seems to be the culprit.
Why should a company have its own website

I'm talking in SME context because many brick and mortar co are actually not interested in having their own website because they did not sell anything online. Why should they spend on something extra. What would be some of the benefit that they may not realise when having own website?

I wanted to get some opinion from other freelance web designer.

part and parcel of doing website is also helping our client to register domain and webhosting. Did you guys prefer being webhosting re-seller or just get it register to the webhosting co of your choice? If then, would you charge them again when they ask u to renew? Whats the best way to manage this registration part if you are making > 5 website every month?

connecting 2 routers together

I've just brought a wireless N router (D-Link DIR 615) so that i can extent my wireless signal. Previously i hook up my modem router (ZyXel Prestige 600) to a 8 port switch where i also hook up my AP (PLANET) for wireless signal. After disabling some function (DHCP..etc) i get to use this wireless router as the other ordinary AP but how do i go about it if i want to make it as my main router instead of the modem router. I've tried to configure d modem router as a bridge but somehow couldnt get the internet connection. i also want to eliminate the use of switch whereby i can connect my modem router straight to wireless router.

Thanks in advance!

setting up print/file server & internet security
Hello,
What i want to do is as mentioned above. I have now 5 PC's (XP Home) which was connected using 16 port hub (accton etherhub). An ADSL Router Modem (Aztech) connects to the hub for broadband connection to all PC. Right now there are 2 Printers (Laser & Inkjet) that connect directly - USB- to 2 PC respectively. This means that that particular PC must be on for other 3 PC to use the printer.

I was wondering if i can set a dedicated PC as a print server and probably file server as well. Maybe for this i can just use my old PII PC (Win98) that has 4 usb port that can connect 2 printer at the same time. It has NIC already. How do i go about configuring the connection?

I'm also aware about the threat if i enable my printer/file sharing while having an internet connection sharing. Is there a way where i can increase security for my LAN from internet intruders/viruses? Can i depends on the Built-in modem firewall?

Any advice and suggestion will greatly appreciated!
