Whenever I am posting something, no one is able to view them. I created a topic in Android section, its visible to me. But when I logout, I cant see that.

Galaxy SII I9100G problems

Hi All,

I got a I9100G recently, and I know there are lot of I9100G users on this forum. I posted in the Rooting I9100G thread, but for some reason, my posts are not visible

Anyways, here are the issues currently with my I9100G (its on stock 2.3.6, with no rooting):

1. The Screen modes in Display settings show NO CHANGES in picture whether we choose Dynamic, Standard or Movie. They remain the same. Whereas in I9100, they change.

2. The Proximity Sensor (the red light beside front facing camera) ALWAYS turns ON when the screen is turned on. I had to call someone and cut the call to make it off. Ideally, it should turn ON only when we are in call, that too depending upon our setting. In I9100 and other phones which have this sensor, it works as expected.

3. While watching a 720p Flash video in browser, it crashes.

4. In 2.3.6 update for I9100, a new Power Saving setting called System Power setting was introduced, which saves power by CPU throttling more efficiently. Its not there in I9100G 2.3.6.

5. The processor speed seldom reaches to 1200 Mhz, it remains stuck to 1008 Mhz most of the time.

Please let me know if you guys are facing same problems. We can write to Samsung and get it fixed in some update.
