Recently banked in my salary at Maybank 3 days ago, Friday (23rd December 2016).

I understand that Today is a replacement public holiday for Christmas as yesterday was a Sunday.

My question is, is it possible for me to get the money today as it is a replacement public holiday? Im not experienced with cheques therefore help me pls

Planning to buy a gaming PC, new rig. Wondering what could I get if I were to buy it now with around RM 3,000?

The only thing that its fixed for me is the i5 4460, others Im not so sure.

Please help me build a rig worth around RM3k which includes:

- GPU
- Monitor
- PSU
- HDD
- Motherboard
- Windows 8.1 OS
- Casing
- RAM
- Speaker (OPTIONAL, would prefer 2 options with and without it)

I saw a recent post of this PSU being fried after a few days of usage, and it is brand new...

On a tight budget and thinking of purchasing this, but after reading that post I'm having second thoughts now.

It might be an unlucky buy or a mere coincidence of it happening, but really, how good the PSU really is? I've seen many people recommending this as a great PSU for RM199, but how so?

[WTB] RM3000 Gaming PC (With or Without Monitor)

I'm looking to buy a new gaming PC in August which will net me around RM3,000 (of course including GST), and I need help from you guys to help me build one as I'm not so good with choosing the best components to go hand in hand in terms of performance / price ratio (Under powered power supply, bottle necking etc). Aiming to play games (GTA5, Witcher 3) with almost maxed out settings (NO AA) with 45-60 FPS constant, NOTHING BELOW 30 FPS!

These are the parts that I need to build up to around RM3k:

- Processor (Prefer Intel i5's)
- GPU (Thinking of R9 280x or GTX 960)
- Motherboard
- PSU (At least 80+ Bronze or decent quality, must have some extra wattage in case of future upgrades)
- RAM 8GB
- 1TB Western Digital Hard drive
- Casing
- OS (Prefer Windows 8)
- **OPTIONAL** Cooling Fan
- **OPTIONAL** 1080p MONITOR (Prefer IPS)

Note that I don't 100% need those with the word OPTIONAL, ONLY if there are space for those, as I want to concentrate on my rig more.

Hi everyone, I'm having this problem for sometime now, so I'm hoping some professionals from lowyat forum will be able to help .

Well, my problem is this. My computer turns on after I press the power ON button, I hear a beep, which usually brings me to bios. But instead, my monitor stayed blanked like my computer is off, and it doesn't bring me into bios. I left the computer on like that for about a minute, trying to tell whether it enters bootup, but it doesn't. Normally my computer would beep a second time AFTER the bios screen before it enters bootup, but I hear no sound.

So basically my problem is as stated:

1) Com powers ON, fan, keyboard, GPU, Proc fan and everything else in my computer is running, but no display is shown after the first beep. It's like my computer didn't power up at all.

2) There's a beep when I start it, so I ASSUMED my mobo is working fine.. (Correct me if I'm wrong, pls and ty!)

3) GPU and proc running, so maybe they're working fine as well...?

If you need it, here are my specs:
*Intel Dual Core E5300
*GeForce GTS450
*PSU 300W

This started happening after I power off (unplug) the power cable from my adapter.. So usually I must be careful not to unplug my power source to prevent this from happening.

So what do you guys think? I need help on this ASAP, thank you in advance for any help is appreciated!

Hi guys, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this.. But I'm desperate for some help..

I was playing battlefield 3, then my com hanged. I restarted it and it can't boot. It passed the bios, but after that I get this error, saying "PXE-E53: No boot filename received."

This wasn't the first time. My hard disk failed before just 2 weeks ago, and I send for warranty. And now it happened again. But with this error. Please help me, I tried many solutions on the net and no help.. Btw if u must know, using windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

Tell me if u need my specs and I will post it.

Battlefield 3 new round bug/problem (PC)

Hi guys.

Sometimes when a round is over and the countdown timer towards the new match ends. My screen went black and this is the time it is suppose to load the new match, but it didn't. My screen just stay black. I alt tab and opened task manager and it is still running, but it doesn't load. It only happens sometimes but I am sick of restarting everytime. Help?

How to increase my battlefield 3 framerate?

I need your help everyone....

My PC specs are:
**Intel dual core E5300 2.6ghz ( didn't overclock )
**Nvidia GeForce GTS450 (stock clock is 783mhz, I down clocked it to 740mhz because I'm scared it will hard lock during battlefield like some people do with their card, please correct me if I'm wrong so I can revert it back to normal )
**3GB ram
**1280x720 monitor refresh rate 60ghz.
**Windows 7 professional 32bit

I play battlefield multiplayer with 15-55, average 30 fps with EVERYTHING set to low. Except for my resolution is set at 1280x720. Fps drop below 25 during heavy battle.

I need to know are there any other tweaks to improve my fps. Currently using gamebooster to help. And no, I don't want to buy a any new card or CPU for now. So what else can I do? Overclock my gpu? Overclock my CPU? Is it safe?

Please input any suggestion to increase my fps without buying anything new. Thanks in advance for those who's helping!
