Im thinking of buying either a Palit sonic 4870 1GB OR zotac amp2 260 core 216 . maybe some sifus can guide me on this . btw mostly on games.

1. 4870 supports direct x 10.1 but nvidia only supports dx 10 .so wats the difference?

2. for the heat issue which one is much less generate heat ?

3. other than zotac is there any brand for the same price better option?

4.so final question im going to buy i7 920 , gigabyte ex58 extreme , cosair 1666mhz 3gb , and power supply is 800watts GT gigabyte odin sufficient power ?
