Hi guys,

I'd like to get some ideas from all the sifus here

the specs: i72600k; Nvidia GTX 580 1.5Gb

I'm planning to put 2 rads on my rigs,, 1 is xspc ex240, the other 1 is hwlabs gtx280.. now which 1 should i give the bigger rad, the CPU block or the GPU block?

I'm planning to make it : ex240 --> CPU --> gtx280 --> GPU --> res/pump or is it better to make it gtx280 --> CPU --> ex240 --> GPU --> res/pump ? or it doesn't even matter?

I'm quite new with this so, need alot of advise please...thaaankss

[WTA] Low Frame Rate - Assassin's Creed 2

Hi Guys,

I'm sorry if I've posted in the wrong section.

I cant figure out why my rig giving a very low frame when I played Assassin's Creed 2. The frame actually dropped to a single digit until the point its not playable. Below are the infos..

Assassin's Creed 2
Res: 1920x1080 60Hz, I put all the graphic setting to the lowest, the frame drops to a single digit as well, I tried 1440x900, no luck '
Rigs:
i7 2600k (3.6GHz)
Asus P8Z68 V Gen 3
8GB RAM G.Skill
Asus GTX 580 DC II 1.5Gb
Intel SSD 320 120Gb

GPU temp 49-57 C
Win7 64bit

Any idea fellas?

A friend of mine is selling her PC, but she doesn't know how much should she sell it..

Any idea guys how much should she sell it? she mentioned that the PC is still running quite okay with the WEI Windows7 (I don't know if the assessment from windows is quite accurate and can be use as the standard ) as below:

[WTA] suggestion for a new PC

Hi Guys,

I recently joined this forum, so pardon my noobie-ness
And pardon me if I've posted in the wrong place.

I'm planning to build up a new rig. I'd like to know what you guys think:
i7 2600k
Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P
Corsair 1600C9 VENGEANCE 4Gb x 2
OCZ Agility3 120Gb
Corsair 600T
Silverstone strider 1000W

now, this is my first build , and I gotta ask:
1. what should I get for GP? I was thinking gtx 570, but my friend suggested go for gtx 560 or gtx 580? and which 1 should i get, MSI, gigabyte, evga, asus, or any other 1? OR should I wait till 2012 for the new GP comes out?

2. for the CPU, Should I get socket 1155 or 2011?because i heard the price for 2011 processors are out of reach for alot of ppl..

3. should i get corsair H100 or Noctua NH-D14 or Thermalright Silver Arrow for the cooler?

I know its a lot, but if you guys can give suggestion, that would be awesome!!
