A suggestion to solve rebooting issues

I found quite some people having rebooting issues when they are trying to OC their Asus Rampage II Extreme Mother Board. So I decided to post this and hopefully this may help some of the problems of yours.

NOTE: I'M NOT AN EXPERT BUT I'M JUST TRYING TO HELP FOR THOSE STRUGGLING FOR THE COMPUTER REBOOTING PROBLEM.

**MAKE SURE YOU TURN OFF THE PSU POWER BEFORE YOU SWITCHING ANY OF THE DEVICES/PERIPHERALS FOR TESTING.

Hardware
**ONLY WHEN THE COMPUTER REBOOTING PROBLEM OCCURS THEN YOU DO THESE STEPS
1.Make sure your computer is not rebooting due to high tempereture of your peripherals usage.
2.Make sure your PSU supply enough power for all the devices. (You may able to calculate the total power supply needed by using the WATT CALCULATOR for computer). Try--> http://support.asus.com/powersupply.aspx
3.If you 100% sure that your PSU provides enough power then try change a power cable and "Do NOT USE EXTENSION FOR THE PSU", meaning to say use the direct power provided from the wall plug to your PSU.
4.Reset everything of your bios settings to default. If you can't make it to the bios settings due to rebooting problem, use the reset bios button provided at the MB (Mother Board).
5.Once done, check all the devices to see if they are working perfectly or not. Like CPU, Graphic Card, Ram (Whether they are compatible with your MB), Main Board.
Lets focus only on the main devices.
5a.Test all the peripherals one by one.
5a(1).Ram - Test each of them one by one & make sure your rams are compatible with the Asus Rampage ii Extreme Main Board.
You may get the list of rams that compatible with Asus Rampage II Extreme MB from here--> http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Soc...treme/#download
Also remember that some rams are not mentioned in the list doesn't mean are not compatible with the MB like Corsair CMP6GX3M3A1600C8, coz its working fine for me.
5a(2).Graphic Card - Aways put it in the first slot (the top PCIE slot under the "CREATIVE SOUND CARD SLOT") instead of using other slots.
If you starts to suspect is the graphic card problem then try to get another graphic card to test.
5a(3).If both of them are not the problem then try take out everything and only power up the MB.
(Of course you are not able to enter the bios but at least you are able to know whether is your CPU cause the problem or not by seeing the light of the Mother Board).
5a(4).If it is still keep on rebooting without CPU then make sure all the jumpers are in default settings (especially the BIOS1 and BIOS2 problem).
If all the jumpers are in default settings and yet your mother board is still rebooting then you may send your MB back to the seller/technician for replacement/checking.
5a(5).If only with CPU then your system keeps on rebooting then you also make sure all the jumpers are in default settings.
If all the jumpers are in default settings and yet your mother board is still rebooting with the CPU attached then you may also send your CPU back to the seller/technician for replacement/checking.
6.If all above are working properly then, check your HDD(Hard Disk Drive), but in my experience most probably if a harddisk got problem it will only cause you to bluescreen.

**MAKE SURE YOU PERFORM ALL THE STEPS ABOVE WITHOUT OVERCLOCKING SETTINGS IN YOUR BIOS.

Software
1.Update bios or choose a bios version that is stable for your system.
2.Same goes to your peripherals' drivers (sound card, graphic card, chipset, lan and...), update all of them and make sure all the drivers are compatible with your OS(XP, Windows7, Vista and...) and using 32bits or 64bits.

THESE ARE ALL THE SOLUTIONS THAT I CAN THINK OF. HOPEFULLY IT HELPS YOU GUYS, THANKS

Darksider Lag in High End Computer

Hello, I having a minor problem while playing "DarkSiders" (I'm playing the game in the resolution of 1920x1080). It has a bit of lagging (consider it 15% lagging over 100%).
I also use my computer to do multitasking while playing the game like downloading, streaming video, play facebook Big2, skype, and search for the walkthrough. (Meaning to say i do all these things at the same time)
**Note: While I was performing multitasking, the CPU, Ram, Graphic card usages are not fully utilized though (CPU less than 15%, Ram less than 40%, Graphic Card usage less than 20%, All Temperatures within 55%).

Even though 15% of lagging is a small problem but i just don't like it, because i'm think my rig's specs should be considered as more than enough to play this game.
So is there anything I can do to solve my 15% lagging problem? Or there is something i have left out?

My computer specs are as follow:
Processor: I7-980
Graphic Card: GTX-480
Mother Board: Asus Rampage II Extreme
Ram: Corsair Tripple Channel Performance Ram 1600MHz 8-8-8-24
Hard Disk: WD SATA 7200rpm 64MB 640GB
Power Supply Unit: Cooler Master 750w
Monitor: Full HD Samsung Sync Master 2333

(Master page X working) - Case Closed

I'm new to VB.net 2.0. I have a problem using the master page in the sub folder.

Detail Problem Description
The master page is working fine in the root folder, it consists an ascx (Web User Control) which is also a templete.
But when I applied the master in the sub folder, I'm not able to see the templete.

Extreamly Great Problem Description
Think about "How you create a master" then slowly you'll know what I meant.

First you create a master page, which you need to design it. After that only you can use the the master page that you designed right? Then how you use the master page that you designed? You create a ASPX and use the master page that you just designed.

Then this is my situation, my designed master page is in root folder and my ASPX is in the sub folder. Got it ?
So I encountered a problem whereby, my aspx that uses the designed master page is incomplete.
Incomplete means I couldn't see the templete inside ASPX that uses the master page. UNDERSTAND???

Anyone who encountered this situation before please advise.
Kindly provide an understandable links if there is any. Thanks

Crystal Report11 (Case Closed)

I'm new to crystal report 11. I am now trying to solve a problem of a crystal report and need some expert's solution. Please understand the situation properly, before giving/providing any solution.

Overall Description
My crystal report consists 4 levels they are
Level1 = (Group Header1)GH1 & (Group Footer1)GF1
Level2 = GH2 & GF2
Level3 = GH3 & GF3
Level4 = GH4 & GF4

**Eventually each of the level has its own data grouped.

Level 4 Description
Level 4 consists of 3 types of accounts that have been grouped.
3 types of accounts = Debit Note, Credit Note, Pure Sales
Each of the account will have its own value.

Key Problem
When any of the account consists of value in level 4 which is not equal to zero. The title of level 3 will be shown. So how are you going to make this happen. Kindly provide me some usefull ideas.

Below are the methods that I have used.
Declare a shared variable and increase to 1 in level 4, when level 3 detects the shared variable number is equal to 1 then show title.
**This is not workable because crystal report will access level 3 first and the shared variable can only be increased whenever the level 4 is accessed, so it will come out inaccurate results.

(Applied this statement in level3) Sum({Grouped_Data},{Level4})<>0 then show title
**This is not workable because the statement above only apply for the first account that displayed in level 4.
If the first account is 0.00 and the second account has value then it will come out inaccurate result.

I hope a good solution can be obtained from here. Just shoot whatever ideas you have in your mind. I'll consider it if there is a chance. Remember, please try your best to understand the situation first before you give me the ideas. Thanks

A simple question .Net 2.0 (Case Closed)

I have developed an application but haven't implemented for usage yet.
I have a simple question over here.

Let say I have a shared variable that will increase from 0 to 1 when the page is loaded. Once the variable is set to 1 the program will never execute the particular codes, because the variable is 1.

So here is the situation.
If the first user login to the page, then the shared variable will be set to 1 automatically.
So, when the second user login to the page. Will the shared variable be set to 0 automatically?

Microsoft Excel (String Manipulation)

Okay, I am new to Microsoft Excel and let me explain my problem. I'll retrieve a group of characters or a string from a cell (consists of 15 characters). The characters inside the cell is not fixed, so it can be 5 or 6 or 7 or 8 characters up to maximum 15 characters.

The Point Is : I would like to add spaces into the string if the characters are below than 15.

Example: If cell(A1) consists of 8 characters, then i would like to make cell(B1) as 8 characters + 7 spaces.

Your help is really appreciated.
Microsoft Excel Apply Formula To Multiple Cells

I'm new to Microsoft Excel environment. My question is simple "I would like to apply my formular(=IF(COUNTIF(B:B,A1),A1,0) to the specified column". The formular is workable, so no need to doupt or ask anything about the formular.

Ok, I ever tried to drag all the the cells and paste the formula inside the formular text box, but it ends up that i only pasted the formular into the FIRST CELL OF THE COLUMN which supposed to be (F:F) but it ends up only (F1) has the formular. I also have tried to (drag all the cells of the column or select the entire column) and apply the formular using Conditional Formatting in excel, but it ends up nothing or the same result came out.

This is critical because I have thousand of records need to be compared. I dont want to apply the formular cell by cell.

Please give me an accurate answer, coz I do not want to spoilt my system.

I i would like to ask another question.
