AND IT IS RIDICULOUS THAT THE ENTIRE POST IS DELETED BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH ONE OR TWO TERMS BEING USED..

I DEMAND TO HAVE MY ORIGINAL POST REINSTATED OR AT LEAST MESSAGED BACK TO ME.. IT IS WRITTEN BY ME, MY OWN ORIGINAL TEXT AND I DESERVE TO BE GIVEN IT BACK, IN ITS ORIGINAL FORM. AND I DEMAND TO KNOW WHO DELETED IT.. DON;T HIDE BEHIND YOUR MOD AND ADMIN STATUS. JUSTIFY YOUR DELETION. I CAN SENSE A PRIVATE PERSONAL AGENDA HERE, DIRECTED AT ME, BECAUSE I DARE TO QUESTION AND CHALLENGE AND MOCK SOMEBODY WHO HAS BEEN ON LOWYAT FOR A LONG TIME, JUDGING FROM THE POST COUNT. DON'T HIDE.. JUSTIFY YOUR ACTION AND YOUR DELETION OF MY POST..

let my post be re-instated and judged by other mods and admins whether it merit outright deletion. i am utterly confident it is not and whoever deleted it is biased and has personal private agenda to prevent me from voicing out against DONMYTY...

Such gross misconduct is an offense in itself and the admin and mod deserved to be punished and warned for blatant negligence, dereliction of duties and for whimsical discrimination, no less.

StreamyX limiting FTP bandwidth now?

my FTP download speed could not go beyond 20Kbps anymore and on average, it will drop below 10Kbps if the file is large and the download duration is longer than a few minutes. Since the speed was fine even one week after the Taiwan earthquake incident, I suspect StreamyX is now moving on to limiting the bandwidth available for FTP, which if it is proven to be true, is probably one of the first for any ADSL ISP anywhere in the world. really farking Malaysia Boleh then...

and I remember some StreamyX cocksucker here claiming that ISP the world over is only blaming P2P and Bittorrent users for hogging all the bandwidth and all other form of protocols and traffic are left well alone. well, cocksucker, your farking bleeding-heart excuse for StreamyX, "oh poor old farking TMnet for doing their duty to the country and provide unlimited bandwidth and being victimised by P2P users" may soon be proven wrong as StreamyX continue to refuse to upgrade and move on to crippling other services and protocols.

Digital audio setup for car

Anyone has experience setting up digital audio system for his or her car? What is the specification of your setup? I have been doing some research and market survey and found that there are only two broad options available to Malaysians. One is changing the CD player to one that can playback MP3, WMA are prevalent but the storage capacity is limited to the 700MB CD capacity while players with USB input can only access capacity of up 2gigs, regardless of whether you are plugging in a thumbdrive or a external harddisk with bigger storage capacity.
The second option is buying a digital car audio adaptor, which mainly support Ipod and none that can support an external harddisk. I hate Ipod but I want a setup which can easily link, access and playback over 20 or 30 GIG of digital music on compact portable digital storage device. Any suggestion, fellow Lyn audiophiles?

Port Forwarding on Dynamic IP

a recent post in another thread has made me realised that port forwarding is essential for the ability to download from as many peers as possible on BT regardles of whether I am behind a firewall or not.
I have been using BT since 2003 and as I have been getting fast and decent speed most of the times, despite being connected to only dozens of peers, as opposed to hundreds of peers, I assumed that portforwarding is a meaningless extra step for me. I have always been able to see connections to hundreds of peers but most of the time, there are only download and upload activities from 10 to 20 peers.
But after learning that I can download from more peers if I port forward, I have decided to read up on port forwarding. all port forwarding guides stated that a STATIC IP is essential for it to work. I have tried port forwarding on my AZTECH ADSL305E but as
I need to SAVE SETTINGS after I have entered the portforward setting, the modem will reboot and I will be disconnected from the Internet. My IP will be obviously be different when I reconnect, which rendered the Portforward setting I have entered instantly useless.
Since most of the people here are on the RM88 package with DYNAMIC IP, how do you guys go about doing your portforwarding?

JARING BROADBAND

Anyone using the Jaring Broadband service now? please share your experience if you are a Jaring Broadband subscriber here.

http://www.jaring.my/broadband/index.html?...package#package

for 1Mbps, its prices is cheaper by RM10 compared to farking TMnet Streamyx and its wired coverage area is rather extensive compared to other alternative providers. combined with its wireless coverage, Jaring Broadband could grow to become a potential competitor the farking TMnet, who ruthlessly monopolise the last-mile network.
Since it is relatively new, it should be quite some time before they face congestion and resort to traffic-shaping. By that time, a few years down the road, we may more, better, cheaper or faster broadband alternatives.

For notebook without S-Video output, I understand there is an adaptor or device that connect the VGA output port to the TV via either the component input or the S-Video. The device will perform the necessary signal conversion to component video or S-Video as well. I found this device via google.

http://www.siliconpopculture.com/review/57_0_2_0_C/

does anyone know if such a device are available for sale in Kuala Lumpur? or alternatively, if there is another way to connect a notebook without S-VIDEO output to TV? thanks for any help provided
