Raid 0 - Advice Needed.

Hi all, before attempting to Raid 0, I have some problems.

My motherboard P5K Deluxe, the manual is very confusing.

so before trying, I would like to verify if this is the method:

I'm using Vista

1) Create a Raid driver in a USB Flash drive

2) Boot into Bios and set those setting as showed in the manual.

3) insert the flash drive, then boot from Windows Vista disc ?

4) when installing vista, It will pop up something for me to choose the raid I want ? and the volume ? and the stripe size ?

I'm very not sure. Hope some sifu's can help out thanks.

Startup Problem

Hello all.

Just today, while I was using my computer half way, suddenly my whole computer JAM, mouse cannot move etc etc.

then when I restart it says NO MASTER HDD Detected.

Then, after changing the sata ports on the motherboard, I try to startup again, this time, It could startup, but whenever I touch the mouse, and try clicking on something it straight away JAMS, and I have to restart.

So it is completely unusable.

But, @ SafeMode, it works well, everything is working.

So is this due to a corrupted windows a HDD Failure ?

Dual Monitor

I want my Secondary Monitor to display MSN.

so what I do is I drag my MSN window to the second monitor.

But whenever my friend PM me, it goes to the primary monitor =(

This is not my aim of getting the 2nd monitor tho, because I wanted one monitor to display my msn, whenever someone

pm me so that I can see it, although I am in a game for example counter strike

anyone know how I can make my 2nd monitor to display msn pop ups/msgs and etc ?

I bought a set of v-cubes, and they arrived at my house 2days ago.

But they sent the wrong cubes, which are the cubes that I didn't bought.

Now they are asking me to send back the cube to Greece.

they are paying EURO 20 to my paypal account for the shipment.

I've never encounter problem like this before, So..

1) how do I post the parcel back to Greece ? Cheaper than Euro 20

Contact Problems

Hi all, my O2 handphone has around 1 thousand contacts.

the problem is when I copy the contacts from my O2 to Sim, and transfer to the iPhone, a problem persist.

the problem is for example my contact is called

John, in O2, under the name John has 2 numbers, House number and Handphone Number.

but when i copy from the sim to the iphone, via Settings in Iphone, under that name John, there is only 1 number.

anyone tell me whats the best method to transfer my contacts from O2 to iPhone

and I also found out that iPhone has problems detecting First Name and Last name, now I have a hard time finding

some of my contacts in iphone because some of them are group at their last name, some of them group at their first

name

Hi,

I am currently using DLINK DSL 500T + DES 1005D.

My ADSL light blinks of very frequently like 1 time in ( 10minutes ) sometimes even more.

and when I try with the Riger or Tmnet's Modem, the DATA light is not showing ( which i assume it should be the ADSL light ? )

is this due to a modem problem ? because I keep being disconnected, and I can't chat with my friends

Internet Downloading Will Stop

HI All, my Internet Download Manager will stop downloading once my computer is idle, or in other words when I am away.

are there anyway to prevent this from happening ?

My computer is not set to sleep mode or what so ever.

This happens when I just changed my streamyx to a combo package.

But When I press F8, it asked me whether to choose local disk C: / or D: .. boot devices..

umm Hi All, I bought my computer at ALL IT, but because some hardware problem =,= I have to bring back the computer back to KL

IF your wondering how I bring it to Kuching I'll tell you, i Check IN IT, but when I arrived home and open up, almost all the Styrofoam break into Pieces although I put the fragile STICKER

ITs so dangerous la, so I wonder is there any way i can bring my computer back to KL safe and sound and FAST !

Computer Keep Hanging

after i install OS, boot up to windows for the first time, it wont HANG...

after all programmes done, restart computer, the PC will hang at Windows !!

the mouse the LED light will go off, and etc......

any idea whats wrong ??

Making a new connection

hi all This is my current connection, im using the Fax line

ADSL Spliter one is for my FAX and one for my ADSL Router.

my computer room has no more space for the 3rd computer that is coming soon, so the new computer has to get up stairs of my house

so by using the wireless router, can i still go online with the new computer ?

between the Fax Line is only available downstairs.
