http://forum.lowyat.net/ Sun, 14 Jun 2026 14:13:21 +0800 FeedCreator 1.7.2 http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/835713 Hello everybody...<br /><br />I have a problem about my laptop (Acer Aspire 4920) producing a buzz sound when connected to any amplifier.<br /><br />For your info, the main purpose i hooked this laptop to the amp is just to play the karaoke files stored in my portable hardisk which i found more safe and secure from the cd failure due to humidity and scratches.<br /><br />Some troubleshoots performed myself including:<br /><br />1) Check all jacks. Found it clean and superb.<br />2) No buzzy found if attached with a normal speaker (pc speaker)<br />3) All amps (tested also with my guitar amps) hooked got this sound even the pc sound was muted <br />4) This is my third laptop. The 2nd laptop was acer aspire 4720 and face the same problem with my current laptop. The 1st one was acer travelmate. No problem encountered at all. As such, both aspire sound card is Realtek and also supports the Dolby home theater.<br />5) The buzz sound only triggered after the power cable adapter is on&#33; The clean sound only produced when the laptop running in its battery.<br /><br /><br />Hence, i conclude that this model is never suitable to connect the line out jack to any amplifier due to electrical current distortion @ disturbance @ whatsoever (i&#39;m not an electrical engineer) when connected into the power cable.<br /><br />However (isk..isk..isk..,<br /><br />1) Does anyone encounter this problem before?<br /><br />2) Any solution or tweak to resolve this problemo?
