IT career path

Hi. I have been working as a software quality engineer for almost a year now. But now I feel the career prospect for this job isn't that good as compared to other IT related jobs. Thinking of switching career but currently don't have much idea on what other IT related jobs are there other than developer.

I have been thinking of the 3 jobs below:
1. DevOps. But I looked on Jobstreet not many listing. Is this job not popular or low in demand here?
2. Cloud engineering. If I want to go for this field what kind of jobs should I look for?
3. SAP. Is it still worth getting into SAP now? And if one day SAP isn't doing that well anymore how easy is it to get other related jobs?

Any other suggestions are welcomed

Fresh grad looking for job

I graduated as an E&E Engineer in 2H 2017 and now planning to venture into IT field. But as a fresh graduate I have no exposure on what career opportunities are there in the IT industry. Therefore, I would like to know which skillset or programming language is valuable in Malaysia IT industry, and what are the good companies that I can join as fresh grad in order to pick up those skills. I dont mind working OT and high workload as long as what I do is able to help me land a good job in the future.

What phone to get to last a year

Hi, currently my phone battery is very bad ( cant last me through my working hours) so I plan on getting a new phone. Not really interested in the 2018 flagships so decided to wait for 2019. So in this 1 year plan to get a mid range phone to tahan first. Any suggestions? Currently the Mi A1 is the cheapest with Android One and all but at that price I'm kinda worried about its part quality (screen, camera etc). Had horrible experience with the 1st gen Xiaomi phones here.

What I need is mainly good battery life and smooth performance. Should I get the Mi A1 (RM900) or consider better phones like the P10 (RM1800) which might get even cheaper when P11 comes out.

Job recommendation

Hi guys, I'm a fresh graduate as an electrical and electronic engineer looking for a job currently. Tried applying for telco companies such as Maxis and Digi through their Management Associate program and CXO apprentice but failed to get both so I guess its hard to get into telco companies nowadays. So I need some advice on what other fields I can join.

I am considering consultant jobs such as m&e or o&g. How is the career path for these? I heard o&g not doing so well and m&e being too competitive and not paying very good and I think my career path for m&e will not be very good as electrical is only a small part in construction.
