Spending SGD directly in Malaysia

Just wondering, if I live in Malaysia but have savings in Singapore, is there a way for me to pay with SGD directly for international purchases? E.g. buying game cards/paying Taobao.

Even if I somehow got a debit card linked to my SG saving account, I still don't have a SG billing address, so don't think that would work either.

Ideas welcomed!

Gainward GTX750TI GS or GTX760?

I am looking to have a graphic card upgrade, I started with 750 TI GS but GTX 760 looks much more stronger with a slightly higher price point after a few days of research. Can i get an opinion on this?

GTX 760 - RM799
2048MB GDDR5 / 256Bit
Core Clock: 1033MHz Core (Boost Clock:980MHz)
Mem Clock: 6008MHz
Stream Processor: 1152
Dual DVI, DisplayPort, HDMI

GTX750 TI GS - RM540
2048MB GDDR5 / 128Bit
Core Clock: 1202MHz (Boost Clock:1281MHz)
Mem Clock: 6008MHz
Stream Processor: 640
DVI, VGA, HDMI

With nearly double the stream processor, GTX 760 made GS's extra clock speed seem irrelevant. The only concern I have is that GTX750 TI is much MUCH newer and has a new architecture. (Is the new architecture irrelevant to me if power consumption isnt an issue?)

I am also buying a 550W 80+ Power Supply, so power shouldnt be a problem.

TL;DR: Is an extra RM150 for GTX 760 over GTX 750TI GS worth it, or is there better options out there?

[Urgent]Need Motherboard+CPU+RAM+PSU Combo, RM500

Hello all! - My work PC just went kaput and my motherboard, PSU and ram burned out together (visibly black marks) on new year's eve =S , i would like suggestion to replace them under RM500+- combined.

Its basically a office use PC with some casual youtube and browsing time to time, so i don't need a GPU, an integrated graphic chip will do, PCI Slots are optional really, i would like the budget to gear heavy towards getting 2/4GB ram and a good CPU (Core 2 Quad/i3?).

Preferably parts that i can buy online on this forum too

Planning Graphic Card Upgrade

Greetings, i am running quite a old rig with no budget for complete overhaul, so i am doing partial upgrade as recommended by a forumer. This is my current specs:

Operating System
Microsoft Windows 7 Extreme Edition R1 32-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93GHz	50 °C
Wolfdale 45nm Technology
RAM
3.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 386MHz (5-5-5-15)
Motherboard
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. G41M-ES2L (Socket 775)	43 °C
Graphics
BenQ GL930 (1366x768@60Hz)
1024MB GeForce GT 220 (Gigabyte)	38 °C
Hard Drives
466GB Western Digital WDC WD5000AADS-00M2B0 ATA Device (SATA)	39 °C
112GB INTEL SSDSC2CW120A3 ATA Device (SSD)
Optical Drives
BKN XEBSH2VW SCSI CdRom Device
Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio

I am looking to only swap out my graphic card for now - any recommendations? I am looking for these qualities that will hopefully last for 3 years time:

-Video editing and rendering
-Able to play most game at High at 60FPS (Disregard my CPU bottleneck for now at 1080P

Also, my PSU is one of the cheapest 2XXW ones, do i need to upgrade my PSU too?

I have preference with Nvidia - but i am willing to welcome changes, can someone tell me why choose ATI? Theres a lot of recommendations of going for Sapphire HD7XXX/8XXX series around here.

As for budget - i am hoping for a few choices, around RM300, around RM500, and around RM700~800 would be nice.

Thanks much!

Building a Semi High-End Production Gaming Rig

Hello guys, Yuu here.
I am planning to get a somewhat high end PC but have next to no idea whats good right now. Please do help me out.

Primary Uses:
-High End Gaming (Battlefield 3 Max/Near Max? Looking for 1080p@60fps with at least 8xAA/AI, ideally 16xAA/AI.)
-Video Recording (Able to record above without any performance hits with Fraps/Bandicam/MSI Afterburner)
(Which means at least two hard disk is needed, one for high performance writing and one to load games)
-Video Editing (Sony Vegas, Premiere(?), After Effects)

Budgets:

I am planning for several budgets, hopefully with the greatest budget-performance ratio. I do hope the build would last me a good two years or more before needing a rebuild. (I'm sorry for asking for multiple build recommendations, budgets are tight and i want to make sure it would really have a good ratio)

A good PSU would be nice, as i would be overclocking, and my current rig is really glitchy with some of its USB half-functional and things crashing all day long after overclocking.

-RM1000~2000 (Budget Rig)
-RM2000~3000
-RM3000~4000
-RM4000~5000

(Hopefully the difference between builds would only be the GPU...)

While i only need the Rig only, it would be nice to have some recommendation on Gaming grade LED that can do 1080p nicely. (Albeit i heard 60fps and 85fps makes no difference on non-CRTs)

A price check on Roccat Kova+ would be appreciated too.

Also, how much would "Rechyyy's" rig cost in RM and how long would it last before needing a rebuild? I would like to use his as a baseline.

Model: Asus CG8250

CPU: Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.40 GHz
RAM: 12 GB DDR3
GFX: Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti
HDD: 2000 GB
SSD: 64 GB

Peripheral wise i already have a Razer Imperator (Changing to Kova+, hence the price check) and a nice Leopold Mechanical Keyboard. So yeah, Rigs all i need.

Thank you in advance pros ;3

Note: I'll be building this rig from a Lowyat related PC shop in The Store Shaw Centrepoint, Klang.

P.S.: Nvidia and Intel preferred~
