PC Under Desk Mount

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right sub forum to ask about this.

My current pc desktop is placed on my table but it is taking a lot of my space so I am thinking to use a holder and mount it under my desk, above the floor.

Anyone have experience with one and know where I could get it.

I have been looking it up online and there seems to be very limited choices on this.

Toyota Vios Gearbox Issue?

Dear Sifus, need your opinion on this matter.

I copied this from another website I found as I felt that it is a similar issue and it more or less explained the situation.

"I think it can't engage the 4th gear. On highway, after smoothly exceeding about 70~80kph, it like gone into neutral, engine just over-rev on its own. I slow down and then there is a jerk, presumingly engaging back to 3rd gear."

I noticed something similar to the over-rev part. So any opinions on this? Is it a gearbox issue?

What am I looking at in terms of cost of repair if needed?

My Vios was bought in 2011 1.5J Auto

I think all this years never do major service. Only normal service.

Recently at February, at 35,000km did normal service at Toyota Service centre. Other times, over the years I will bring it to the ENEOS workshop near my house for normal service.

Thank you.

Think my router is infected

TBroadband provider
ISP/package: Astro IPTV package
Location: Damansara PJ
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Yes

Personal equipment
Modem: Huawei HG850a
Router: Cisco E1000
Firewall used: Bitdefender, Malwarebytes

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Probably 2 weeks back?
Problem frequency: Quite often every time I opened a new webpage

Problem description:

So I have been experiencing some problems with these pop-ups every time I tried to load a new webpage. When the page loads, the mouse cursor remains a mouse cursor over whatever link I hovered over. Once I clicked on anything or anywhere, a pop-up for random ad appeared on a new tab. Then only I will be able to click on anything on the original webpage I was on.

I noticed the the pop-up will start off with the address rdsrv.com.... before redirected elsewhere. I had been looking it up, it is definitely some kind of Malware so I ran Malwarebytes and Bitdefender but it does not resolved the problem. Then I noticed it was repeating for my phone and other devices connected to the Wifi so I am suspecting my router may be having some kind of problem.

I called Astro first about it and they mentioned that this problem happened before and the only solution given by the technicians was to change the router. I am not interested in doing unless I am really short of ideas. I just relocated recently and the technicians charge a lot for the relocation (which I am still mad about). Changing the router will probably cost more money so I am looking at other options first.

I called Time directly too and they said they could not help as I was subscribed to Astro IPTV so they could not do anything. ( I think they are just trying to avoid responsibility should anything happen).

So when I mentioned about trying to reset the router to factory settings and see what happens, Time people immediately told me to contact Cisco for that matter since it is their router.

So now I am at Cisco, the service provided is definitely better as they listen to my problems and suggested ways to handle this problem. The guy suggested I should upgrade the firmware first since the firmware on my router is outdated back to 2011. Then should the problem persists I can try to reset the router.

The problem is, should I have to reset the router, I would have to reconfigure the router to be able to connect to the ISP again and I am not sure in doing that. Is there anyway for my to automatically connect back to the ISP.
I do have the username and password for the Cisco router basic setup page. But i am afraid should I screwed up then the technician will have to come over and charge me for it.

tl,dr : Devices suffering from pop-ups when connected to the wifi, any measures to counter it? Should I reset router, how do I go about it?
