My agent told me is non bumi lot but there is 2 name in the s&amp;p, lst is non bumi &amp; 2nd name is bumi. And the 1 who signed the offer letter is bumi owner. <br /><br />I feel so curious and I called the developer, developer said is bumi lot but my agent want me to wait until monday. Let the owner to chk with developer lst. Because the chinese owner said he didn&#39;t get any bumi discount on the unit purchased. But the chq that I issued will banked in on monday. I told the agent i will to place stop payment for the said chq. He said don&#39;t and if i do so, i need to responsible for all the consequences. So, what should I do now?<br /> <br />My questions:<br />1. If the property is non bumi lot, can they sue me? Because I already signed offer letter and I placed stop payment on the cheque later.<br />But if i didn&#39;t placed stop payment and my chq will be clear and I worry the agent won&#39;t refund the 3% booking fees to me.<br /> <br />2. Why the agent didn&#39;t chk with the developer lst before he propose the unit to others? <br /> <br />3. If I didn&#39;t place stop payment and later confirmed the unit is bumi lot, then can I ask for compensation?<br /> I already reject other offer from other agents.<br /> <br />4.
