How does uber fare work?

Firstly i wanna say sorry if this is not the right place to ask.

Im going on a trip next week so i wanted to use either uber or grab to go to my destination.

For Grab it quoted me around RM236 while for uber Rm143. Why is Uber fare really cheap compared to Grab fare?

i know uber charge by km and minutes but will i need to pay extra amount for the uber fare if the road is jammed or anything? Im going from KLIA to Johor btw

MMU or KDU?

Wondering which one is good for taking IT/Computer Science. I've read rumors here that MMU lecturer not good anymore but just dunno if true or not. What peaks my interest on applying to KDU is their new facilities and when i went to their booth weeks ago it was more to IT courses maybe thats why

I'm going for the Diploma>Degree route for Computer Science course. I've already checked that
KDU (Diploma=2yrs Degree=2yrs) 4yrs
MMU(Diploma=2 and half year Degree=3yrs) 5 1/2 years

Firstly i'm a bit confused why KDU study length is shorter than MMU moreover the Diploma fee for KDU is 35k whereas MMU is just 20k. But the fees isn't the problem though

Which one of them has better/good lecturers,facilities for a Computer Science course?

UTHM or UTeM or UniMAP for Electrical Engineering

I'm leaning to UTHM but i wanna hear others opinion on which of them is better/good for getting a Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Honestly i haven't heard of these IPTA until i saw them in the UPU list .

Also I'm a bit confuse about the difference between Electrical Engineering and Electrical & Electronic Engineering. I've already research(googled) about it but what i wanna know is will i get a disadvantage if i just study EE and not EEE in terms of getting a job? for example there's a job opening for an Electrical Engineer so will the EEE candidate get the job rather than the EE candidate?

Another question is, say i get good CGPA for my Diploma in EE UTHM. Will i be able to apply for degree in UTM and will the degree period be shortened because i get good CGPA or is it the credit system(i don't quite know about this so do enlighten me)

I want to take Computer Science. Still deciding to go for foundation or diploma. siblings and parents keep saying things to me making my judgement all fuzzy . My question is am i eligible to study abroad? If so then any recommendation as to where should i go? If i can't study abroad then which good uni should i go here that offers Computer Science. I've checked the upu and so far i see only(that peaks my interest) UIAM offers foundation on CS and CS diploma at UiTM

[WTA]Streamyx line hasn't been fixed for 3 weeks

Firstly i wanna say sorry if this is not the right subforum to post this.

I'm having trouble with my streamyx and phone line since 22/23 January. I've already called 100 and reported my problems numerous times. everyday i call them at least once on Week 1 to solve my problem and luckily they told me they made my report top priority or something.

After a week i got a message form TM stating that my line is fixed so i tried connecting to the internet but alas the dsl light didn't even turned on. my phone line is also dead so i called 100 again and they told me their technician already solved my problem . They made me another report and gave me a report number and said it'll be fixed within 1 day. The next day i got another text from TM stating it was fixed but surprise surprise it isn't

So i gave up calling for a week and this week i called them again and as usual said to wait 1 days and the next day i got the same stupid situation like last week "They made me another report and gave me a report number and said it'll be fixed within 1 day. I'm seriously pissed off and don't know what to do anymore. there's this TM technician thats in charge of my area. everytime my streamyx is broken he'll fixed it and say "your house is too far from tm box so thats why always broken". He probably fed up of coming to my house again and again so he just complete the report so he don't have to fix it. Within 3 weeks = haven'y been fixed/no calls from tm/no update form tm/ only text stating problem fixed but still not

so what should i do? can i report this to CFM or my problem is not that severe or something? already 3 weeks no internet then if week 4 also don't have then have to pay bill without even using it

Streamyx 8Mbps upload speed = 1Mbps package?

Firstly i'm sorry for asking this and i know these type of question come up all the time but mine is a bit different sorta.

Ok so after enduring 7 years of of screamyx 1mbps in my village finally i moved to a neighbourhood that offers the 8Mbps BB deal sadly no Unifi yet.

My question is the 8Mbps upload speed same like the 1Mbps package? ping is same too? When i was in my village using the 1Mbps the TM Box(dunno the actual name) is reaaaally far from my house and to top it all of my copper cable is really long from the main road. It's so long that TM technician "nominated" my cable longest in the city and also they said my cable got bite mark from 'tupai' making the connection unstable. but overall the up and down speed is quite ok i think. 1.3mbps down 0.67mbps up and ping 99. my current house that i want to subscribe for 8mbps bb deal is really close to the tm box like 50+metre or so. does that makes any difference? does getting nearer to the tm box making the ping and speed better? i can't test now because i haven't subscribe the deal yet. I use the internet mainly to download games from steam, play dota and ff14 and watching youtube. i get 135ms while playing ff14 and 66ms while playing dota 2 so will it get much better with 8mbps?
