[WTA] Parcel too big/wide to fit inside mailbox

I stay in a landed property, i.e. not apartment/condo.

I am expecting a few parcels in the coming months. But they are either too thick (box) or too wide to fit in my mailbox. They are coming by normal mail (not registered/courier). What will the postman do if he can't fit it into my mailbox?

In the past, I think the postman just threw it into my house, but there was always someone home to retrieve it. At least, that's what the person who used to be at home told me. Now, there is no one home during the day, and I only come home after work in the evening. Will he still do the same thing?

Please reply if you know what happens. It will be much appreciated.

[WTA] Pos Malaysia opening hours (especially Sat)

I am aware of the new 5 working days system of all Pos Malaysia branches, which means that some branches don't open or are only working half-day on Saturdays.

What I want to ask is that is this the same for the Cawangan Serahan? And are they still closed on the first Saturday of the month?

What about PosLaju offices?

I am expecting a flat package in a bubble mailer. I am aware that if the package is too big, the postman will ring the doorbell and get you to collect it, or if you are not home, he will leave you a card and you will have to go to the post office to collect it. However, the package I am expecting is rather small and flat, and can fit into the mailbox. Will it be dropped into the mailbox instead?
