Faulty Ram

Hi Guys,

Ive a faulty 4gb 1600mhz stick ram that isnt detected by the board.
Been wanting to get it to RMA or replace since rams have lifetime warranty,
but i lost the receipt but i still have the original box with legit serial no.

Is there anyother way that i could get my ram to replace without the receipt ?

First thing first the specs,

I3-4130
Corsair 2x4gb 1600mhz
Asus z87i-pro
Gtx760 hawk
Gx 550

So heres the problem, ill make it short and quick.
The last time I switched on my rig was a week ago and was
Switched off properly without any problems.

Now it can be turned on. cpu fan, casis fan not running , no visual on screen,no clue whats wrong with it. Checked the psu with the paperclip and it runs. Im suspecting theres something wrong with the mobo.

When talk bat building rig, the budget is vital information;

so heres mine; rm2400. the budget is quite firm cis I've

some parts already, using my previeos ram and psu.Because

the budget is tight I've to ask for recommendations from u guys.

Currently the Gpu will be on hold. bcs of the tight budget
looking only to buy the proc, mobo and casing. and if can squeeze
