Hi All,

I really love HGST drives, and they've been ranked #1 in reliability: What is the Best Hard Drive?

Last year, there was one dealer in Kuching whom I special ordered HGST drives from KL. This year, they told me they no longer sell them. I called HGST office in Kuching, and was told they just send their drives to China to sell. That really gets my goat, as they operate in Malaysia, make the drives here, yet send them off to China.

Are there any HGST dealers in Malaysia?

Satria Neo dangling sensor?

Looked under the bonnet of my Satria Neo this morning and saw this sensor just 'hanging out'. Anyone know what it's for and where it's supposed to plug into???

I have a 2006 Satria Neo Auto. It has a oem blaupunkt radio. The radio, when on, keeps making a beep every 5 minutes. No matter if radio or playing my ipod. Driving me crazy! How to turn that off? ??

I have a Satria Neo 1.6 Auto. Just ordered a set of those Samco silicon radiator hose. Seller sent me the Manual one before he found out I have Auto. Are the manual hoses different? Anyone know if I should just send the Manual one back?

Satria Neo weird engine overheat

Hi All,

I bought a secondhard '06 Satria Neo. It has a very strange overheating problem.

A few days ago I left it idling with AC running. I noticed engine heat was very high (near the 120C) mark. I turned off the AC and it returned to normal.
My wife then took the car out and the the engine overheated and shut down. Luckily she got it home quick. I check it and the main radiator hose had burst! I changed the hose, refilled radiator, etc.

Now have this strange problem. If the car is idling with AC on, engine temp starts going higher and higher till it reaches 120C. If I turn AC off, engine temp goes down. If I start driving, temp goes down.

I took it to proton shop for full maintenance; changed timing belt, flushed radiator, check everything. Told them about overheat. They checked the car and said couldn't find any overheating problem. I thought, great! Radiator flush much have fixed it. Nope. Same problem. Only with AC on, and idling, tenp goes up. Very very strange.
Oh yeah, also when the temp is high, I'm sure I can smell a whiff of engine coolant smell coming into the cabin....

Where to get carbonation/fountain soda equipment?

I'm looking to setup a seltzer soda maker at home. I was going to build one since the parts are cheap from the UK, but cost of shipping is 3x the cost of the parts!

Anyone know where I can get used F&N fountain equipment or any soda making equipment (second hand especially)?
