Recently I ported in some contact detail from my Nokia Handphone into my PC so that I can later port them over to another handphone.

Now that all these contact had been ported over to my New Handphone. and there is no need to keep these files.

These files have .vcf extension, but I realised that I cannot delete or even rename these files.

Check these files property - Atributes Non Read-only and Non Hidden.

any suggestion on how to remove these files from my computer other than formatting

PSU Issue

I had setup a system consisting the following configuration :-

1 - Motherboard - Biostar TP35D2-A7
2 - CPU - C2D E4400 M0
3 - 320Gb Hitachi 16Mb Buffer SATA2 Hard Disk
4 - LG-DVD RW
5 - 2 x 1 Gb DDR2 800 Memory
6 - Logitech Cordless Internet Pro (Keyboard & Mouse)
7 - Single 12CM Normal ICute case fan
8 - Sapphire ATI X1300XT DDR3 256Mb PCI-e Graphic Card

Power Supply - FSP SAGA 400Watts True Power

Here is my problem :-

The voltage reading only read -

4 V on 5 V rail
10.3V on 12 V Rail
4.2 V on 5 VSB rail
Others like 3.3V & Vcore all reads fine

When this computer is move from my office to my home.

All voltage reads fine.

The plug point was used to power an old Pentium D with Cap Ayam PSU without problem all this while in my office. And now supposedly better PSU and lower power C2D is show worst voltage reading.

PSU computation compute power requirement is less than 300Watts.

The computer has been self reseting due to low voltage reading

Windows Cold boot OK, but cannot Windows Restart

Hi guys, has anyone encountered such problem...

I just setup a completely new system with the following configuration:-

Asus P5KSE Motherboard (P35 Chipset)
C2D E4400 L2 Stepping
2 x 1Gb DDR2 800
FSP Saga 400Watts PSU
Sapphire ATI X1300XT 256Mb DDR3 Graphic Card
320Gb Hitachi SATA2 16 Mb HDD
LG DVD-RW
Logitech Cordless Internet Pro Keyboard & Mouse
AOC 17" LCD Monitor

Motherboard BIOS had just been Flashed to Version 0604
Windows XP Pro SP2

Here is the scenario:-

1. formatted the Hard disk and installed the windows xp from scratched.
2. Installed all the standard Software like Open Offiice and some other.
3. Tries overclock my E4400 to 2.8 Ghz with all the default Auto setting. Fine so far. This computer even run stable at 3.0 Ghz
4. Run Orthos Stress test with 24Hrs/7days for 1 week also no problem.

Now here is the problem :-

Shut down the computer and reinstall in another house by just changing to

Acer 17" widescreen Monitor

Computer can boot from cold, from total Power Off after unplug from main.

Once the windows boots up, I can use the computer for the whole days, and very stable no issue.

But when I perform windows RESTART or SOFT on from case power on after shut down from windows. The windows will get stuck at Microsoft Windows XP Logo start up screen, with some dots moving from left to right. These dots will get stuck or becoming extremely slow, where the windows will not come up after 1 hour.

Reset all motherboard setting to default. Meaning running at Stock Frequency also suffer the same probem

Now, if I switch off the computer from the main, and restart the computer. Windows will start up as normal. But cannot Restart or warm start Any idea what is going on

It appears as though the windows is trying to look for some new hardware or something.

Will tries to change the motherboard to BIOSTAR TP35D2-A7 later to see whether it help.

want to ask overclocking G33 Motherboard

I like to know whether anybody have any experience in overclockng the current intel
G33 based motherboard with build-in integrated graphic.

It seem that everybody is into P35 or P965 base motherboard. No light on the G33.

I had a very bad experience with G965 motherboard, because the G965 does not allow PCI 100Mhz Freq lock which cause the motherboard to be an extremely lousy overclocker.

I don't know whether Intel has improved or ironed out this bug in the G33 and the upcoming G35 chipset.

Not everyone overclocker is into gaming, therefore some user do not need any high end graphic card.

All they need is just plain office work, and watch some video clip once a while. And this G33 seems to be the best candidate to suit this criteria.

Buying a G33 motherboard minus a graphic card is a lot cheaper than buying a P35 motherboard with a cheap graphic card and this cheap graphic card cannot even match the performance of G33 graphic.
