Does loyalty mean anything in the current society?

It's near the end of 2017, I've notice people around my circle of friends are switching job or planning to jump ship once they receive their bonus at the end of the year (or during CNY). Economy aren't that ideal nowadays, inflation are too high but salary are too low. Its everyone for themselves, or is it?

Besides work, how do you view the importance of loyalty in a relationship, or friendship? It is something that you value so much that it could easily break even with the slight indication of disloyalty? or you just let things happen when it happens?

Does Man "Willingness" to Spend defines love?

Hello guys, just wanted to create a topic to have some healthy discussion about relationship.

I bet a lot of you guys (especially Chinese) have heard this saying from many women:
"I don't expect you to give me a lot but I just want to know how "willing" are you to give me."
(我不会要求很多，我只是想在你身上看到你对我的舍得)

And there is also this saying circulated among most young Chinese girls;
How "willing" the man to spend on you represents how much he loves you.
(一个男人对你的舍得就代表他有多爱你。)

*Above might not be an accurate translation, but pretty sure you guys get the idea.*

So guys and girls, the question is.. What is the definition of "willingness to spend/give" for a women to you? Is it;

1.financially (Money)
2.physically (Time)
3.maybe Emotionally?

Highly appreciate if there are any women here that could kindly elaborate me on this matter

I've been through several relationship before and I've seen many type of people. But this remains the golden question for me. My personal opinion is that,

In terms of financially, if she wanted to you to spend everything on her, she is probably not a keeper (at least that is what I think). My personal belief is that if a women truly loves you, she wouldn't want you to starve, she have plans for both of your future, not her personal gain and temporary satisfaction. A healthy relationship always starts with a healthy financial planning, even if you are not married.

Physically (Time) is very reasonable but some might be too controlling over this. Every women wants a successful man, how you define successful is another story, but the bottom line is that for a Man to pursue his career or dreams, he needs time. And I believe that a healthy relationship is to give and respect each other space, have faith in each other. Trust me, as a man, receiving 50-60 text messages spam while you are working is not a joke.

Emotionally contribution is pretty much a reasonable request for a healthy relationship, we shall skip that unless someone would further clarify about this.

So, what do you think?

Reminiscence

Just to share a story of mine that happen on this early morning.

There is a special girl that once exist in my life,
A girl that I never really notice,
A girl that I never taken seriously.

A picture appears out of nowhere during my sleep,
My memories rewind me back till that day,
A day that I remind myself why I changed.

She is a girl that I once knew during primary school, She lives a few blocks beside me back in the days. We took the same bus to school every morning and I always reserve a seat for her whenever I can. I don't think she likes me as I always tease her, but she always sits beside me no matter how angry she gets. Sometimes she will ignore me if she gets really angry and most of the time she will just play along with me. Our school bus friends used to call us "black & white" because I'm quite tanned and she have a very fair skin.

Years had passed by,
We graduated our primary school and both of us went to the same secondary school.
That is when I did something that I deeply regret, something that changed me from what I was.

The first year of my secondary school is one of the best highlights of my childhood.
I got enrol into a good class, met a lot of new friends. And most of all, girls are all over me.
I study in class A, she was in class C. We still took the same bus to school everyday.

But something bad, something wrong happen during our final exam before we enter our second year.
I let my ego get the best of me.
I confess to her about my feelings and she kinda nods without any hesitation.
But I was being playful that time, I do not know how to manage a proper relationship and I think of it as a game because getting girl are quite easy.
I let her hanging around corner while I'm fooling around with other girls.
I made empty promises to her while I'm busy playing around with my friends.
Days before our final exam, she told me that her family is going to move out from the area very soon and she give me a address and ask me to write her letters. (we do not have cellphones back in the days)
I was too naive, I was too cocky during that time. I did no keep the address she gave me.

A few weeks after our final exam.
She did no came to school,
Her house was empty,
And the seat beside me was empty.

Until a few months later when her parents brought her to school and collect her report card.
She ignores me when she first saw me,
then I walk towards her and ask her to give me her new house address.
She replied: "你这贱人，我永远都不会原谅你. (You jerk, I will never forgive you.)"
Then, she left with her parents after that.

That is the last day that I met her.
And that is when I realise that I have made a big mistake.
A mistake that cost my best friend to leave me forever,
A mistake that can never be corrected.

I learn something from that day.
I learn that never love someone if you can't even love yourself,
I learn that love is not a game, love is a responsibility,
And most of all, I learn to cherish my friends and family.

It is kinda amazing how much memories I could recall from just a single dream of mine.

It was just a simple dream.
A blurred grey vision of her,
the smell of her hair and the smile on her face.
A dream that channel tears into my eyes.

Screen version of Assassins Creed due out in 2015

A film version of the popular video game saga is slated for North American theatrical release on May 22, 2015.

The film version of the "Assassin's Creed" video game is to come out on a rather appropriate holiday in the US: May 22, 2015 will be Memorial Day, commemorating all the men and women who've died serving in the US Armed Forces.

Though the screen adaptation already has a release date, it hasn't found a director yet. So far only the hero has been tapped: Michael Fassbender ("Prometheus"), who will also co-produce the picture. Seeing as the movie's scheduled for completion in two years, however, the team and the details of its development are likely to be thrashed out soon enough.

"Assassin's Creed" is a historical stealth action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft that puts the player in the role of a descendant of any of various lines of prominent Assassins. Using a device called the "Animus," players has to relive the ancient battles of their "ancestors" against the Knights Templar in order to discover their own destiny.

Since 2007, various settings have catapulted players to Jerusalem, Florence, Constantinople and the US (during the American Revolution). The next game, due out this fall, will be set in the Caribbean, around Cuba and Jamaica.

The film adaptation is scheduled to hit commercial theaters three weeks after "The Avengers 2," the sequel to the superhero movie "Marvel's The Avengers" (2012).

Microsoft Security Essentials update and more.

One of my office desktop couldn't update all of the updates from Microsoft, and couldn't access the internet as well.

Although the connection there indicates "connected" but when I surf the web using any browser the "internet explorer no connection" always pop out.

So here is the error when I'm updating my Microsoft Security Essentials Virus and Spyware Definitions.

77 companies blacklisted by Bank Negara

PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara has blacklisted 77 companies involved in unauthorised and illegal transactions amid reports of RM100mil being lost monthly to commercial crime.

It said the list was “not exhaustive” and only serves as a guide to help the public be on their guard.

The list posted on its website (www.bnm.gov.my) comprises companies operating without a licence (38), involved in gold investment (22) and in forex trading (17).

“The list will be updated regularly,” Bank Negara said in a statement.

It cautioned the public to be wary of companies and individuals misusing acknowlegement letters from Bank Negara to solicit investments.

“Such a letter does not amount to a business licence or approval by Bank Negara,'' it said

Under the Banking and Financial Institution Act, a company that conducts leasing, factoring, development financing or building credit activities must obtain a written acknowledgment from Bank Negara. The letter is issued only for statistical purposes and will be withdrawn when the institution concerned ceases its scheduled business, Bank Negara said.

It warned that people dealing with unauthorised operators were not protected under the laws. “Members of the public who participate in the illegal financial activities could also be charged with abetting the operators,'' it said.

Asus GTX 560TI DDR5 2GB (My old gpu, Planning to upgrade into HD 7970 soon.)
Intel 520 SSD, 120gb for OS used only. -RM580
WD Raptor 1TB HDD. (My old HDD)
WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD. -RM310
Samsung rewritable CROM (My old CROM. Don't know about the model, all I know that it is Samsung.)

I have told one of my family to bought me the G.Skill TridentX F3-2400C10D-8GTX (Dual Channel,DDR3-2400mhz, 2x4GB) in the US a few weeks ago with the price range of RM400+ (somewhere near RM500), but I have waited for a few weeks and he still haven't got the time to buy it for me.

So I'm tired of waiting and switch to other brands which are available in Malaysia.

Since most of the DDR3-2400mhz RAM such as Corsair, Kingston (Dominator/Vengeance/HyperX) are extremely expensive on Malaysia (Mostly Quad Channel Kit, 32gb)...so I am thinking to grab the DDR3-2133mhz instead.

Here is what I have in mind:
1.Corsair Dominator CMT 8GX3M2A2133C9 (Dual Channel Kit, DDR3-2133mhz, 2x4GB) - RM490
2.Corsair Vengeance CMT 8GX3M2A2133C11 (Dual Channel Kit, DDR3-2133mhz, 2x4GB) - RM370

Which RAM should I choose between these 2? Also kindly suggest other RAM you have in mind, I'm planning to grab it within these few days.

Just so you know, I'm also planning to liquid cool my system in the near future.

Gaming Build, Z77 Motherboard

I'm planning to build a new gaming desktop, have plans to set up for multiple display 1080p with a HD 7970 CFX. But I'm going to stick with my 560 Ti for now...until I can get enough money to continue the project.

Here are the current items that I have already purchased:
-Corsair Professional Series Gold AX850 (Bought it with RM690)
-Intel stocked 1155 Core i5-3570K (Paid deposit, quoted price is RM695)
-G.Skill Tridentx F3-2400C10D-8GTX (Already pre-ordered with RM400, not yet reach.)

Here are the empty lists that I need to fill in:

-Motherboard (Z77 motherboard that supports SLI, CrossfireX & Virtu MVP technology.)
Before that I have plans to get the ASRock Extreme4 at first, but the store that I purchased from do not sell them. So I'm looking for a good ASUS or GIGABYTE board. (Prefer performance ones. Big or small doesn't matter, as I could try my best to fill in those PCIe x16 slots. LOL)

-SATA HDD
Don't really know much about that, I guess I'll just stick with Western Digital Black 1TB? Seriously need some advice on this one.

-Casing
I have no idea, please help me on this part. (LOL)

The balance of my budget is around RM1,300...I can add a little bit more if necessary.

So...please, Kindly leave your recommendation and price.

I'm starting to get really confused with Malaysia market price, especially on computer hardware. I usually pre-ordered most of the items those from ncix, newegg or lelong.com...but hey, since I'm coming down to KL for a few days...why not check some of those stuff out while I'm on it.

I would like know what price range I should expect if I'm going to get these parts on lowyat, hope you guys could help out.

ASUS MAXIMUS V GENE - Price?
ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 - Price?
Gigabyye G1.Sniper M3 - Price?

I'm open for other options such as ASrock, but fyi...I'm looking for intel Z77 boards that support SLI, CrossfireX & Virtu MVP technology only...not really going for Quad, so I don't need such big boards.

Thermaltake Smart Series 850W - Price?
Corsair AX850 - Price?

For PSU, I would stick with Thermaltake or Corsair AX series (850-1000w).

Planing to build those parts along with:
-HD 7970, planning to set up for multiple displays. (didn't bought it yet, but I'm not really in a rush on getting it since its the most expensive part and I could still stick with my 560 Ti.)
-G.Skill TridentX 8gb. (F3-2400C10D-8GTX) - (Already purchase with the price range of RM400.)

Processors, I would probably go with the i5-2500k for budget wise and as an average gamer, but deep inside I'm craving to get the i5-3570k (Still don't know the price yet).
