R9-280X Power connector Q

Greetings,

Noobie here, so I've decided to go for a 280x instead of the 290, the Sapphire R9-280x Toxic Ed. in particular.
So for my problem, i'm using the SuperFlower HX600W 80+Gold.

Q1) Is my PSU sufficient? Sapphire's site ways it requires 750W
Q2) The GPU requires 2X150 Watt 8-pin PCI Express power connectors.

Is that connector sufficient to power up the card? (1 of the red 6+2pin has 'PCI Express' written on it, and 'SLI Ready' on the other). Or do I have to buy another 1 of those?

Harrow!

First i should explain that my main/gaming PC which I had for 5 years finally drew its last breath and to make matters even worst, I am on my sem-break. So as you can imagine, being computer-less on a holiday is pretty.... dull. Thankfully I have enough money to get a brand new rig, but seeing that its already September, and AMD's 9000s is only a month away, should i get a 760 now or suffer for another month?

Also, the reason why I'm torn up between the two is because the GTX700s is just a refreshed/enhanced version of Nvidia's GK104 whereas for AMD, next-gen consoles will be based on Radeon architecture. Therefore speculated to be more optimized for future PC games e.g BF4 Who knows, there might even be a never settle bundle

Thanks in advance, any opinions given, I shall accept with open arms.
