I came across a video clip from TED talk which is quite cool.

The essence of the talk is basically to look into ways of motivating oneself to do better in a subject/work that matters.

It touched on an approach which emphasizes on 3 elements:
- Autonomy: the urge to direct your own lives
- Mastery: the desire to get better and better at something that matters
- Purpose: the yearning to do what we do in a service of something larger than ourselves.

The speaker, Dan Pink, stated that this is the new building blocks of an entire operating system of businesses.

But I was wondering whether can the same be applied into our children, so as to make them more empowered to excel in their area of interest?

Just to share on a property investment book written by a local boy, Faizul Ridzuan.
A truly refreshing and easy to read book for the average Joe like me.
It's full of real life experiences with useful thought process and lots of "think out of the box" tips.

Book title is "WTF 23 properties by 30", cool huh....

Plumbing problem

Hi all, need to get some advice here.
A friend's apartment sinky was blocked.
The sinky is in the kitchen, the water just refused to flow through.
A plumber commented that it might be due to small stones which were stucked inside the piping.
Any remedy for this?
