I’m a creator from Kuching, East Malaysia, Malaysia. Since I was a kid, I loved drawing comics in school exercise books, even simple stick figures. I kept creating stories in my head, imagining scenes, characters, and entire worlds.During my teenage years, I continued drawing while slowly getting into video editing. Back then, my dream was to become a Hollywood sci-fi film editor. But because of real life and responsibilities, I had to put that dream aside for a long time. There were moments when I felt the creative skills I spent years building had no real value in the real world.Still, I never gave up my obsession with cinematic storytelling. I would replay iconic movie scenes over and over again, studying every detail and trying to understand why certain visuals could emotionally hit people so deeply. To me, powerful scenes are never accidental. There’s always a hidden creative logic behind them, and I’ve always been passionate about discovering it.When AI technology started becoming more advanced, I finally found a way to bring the worlds and stories in my mind to life. This AI sci-fi short film was created almost entirely by myself, from the scriptwriting, visual generation, and character design, to editing, pacing, and sound work. The whole production took around three months to complete.This project isn’t perfect, and there are still many things I wish I could improve. But it’s the most complete and personal work I’ve ever created so far. Everything was self-funded, costing me four figures in Malaysian Ringgit. For me, this isn’t just a short film, it’s my way of responding to the dream I had as a child.I know the ending feels rushed, and many viewers wanted more. Honestly, I feel the same way. This project took a huge amount of time and energy, and right now I want to focus on improving myself and creating something even stronger in the future. If the audience response is strong enough, I’ll seriously consider making a full version of the story.Today, I focus heavily on AI cinematic storytelling, directing mindset, editing rhythm, and visual emotion. Simple exercise you can do at home

Hi /k, I wanna share a simple exercise for ya'll who spend too much time behind a pc. It's called climbing the stairs. Great for heart health, leg strength and much more time efficient compared to brisk walks or jogging. You'll be surprised how much sweat you can produce after just 10 minutes of walking up and down one flight of stairs in your home. Also great for burning calories, it takes so much energy to fight against gravity consistently.

What I do it is take 15 seconds break each time you reach the top and bottom of the stairs, to avoid over straining your knees. Simple 10 minutes sessions twice a day will greatly improve your health and well being and avoid sedentary lifestyle.

Hey guys, I’m planning to buy a 1440p 27” gaming monitor. Is there any pc shop is klang valley that showcases various monitors that are actually displaying things (you know like how a typical electronics shop displays TVs)? I’m really afraid of just relying on online reviews when it comes to monitors, as my eyes are quite prone to eye strain if the display isn’t right, just like using my laptop’s screen burns my eyes so badly, but my current 1080p external monitor is perfectly fine.

Also I noticed in reddit that in other countries, customers can easily return monitors within 14 days if it doesn’t suit them, in fact many people returned them due to excessive eye strain, and kept buying and returning monitors until they found a suitable one. Is there any shop with a return policy like this in malaysia?

Need help for mid-range gaming rig

Hello pc sifus, I'm looking for a mid-range gaming rig and it's been years since I've kept up with pc technology so I'm kinda lost. Below are two racuntech pre-built rigs, and they fit my budget of between RM3-4k.

So browsing around the web, I've noticed mixed opinions about these two graphics card, some say RTX 4060 is better due to lower power consumption and slightly better performance, but it comes at the expense of just 8GB VRAM, which many others say is just inadequate for the near future. Wherelse the RTX 3060 has 12GB VRAM, but more power consumption and less performance. What are your thoughts sifus? Which rig would you prefer?

Also, I've heard AIO coolers may breakdown and leak causing a mess, should I get a fan cooler instead? Thanks bros.

EDIT: Please feel free to recommend any other rigs you like, maybe AMD rigs?

EV repairability down the road

Now as EV fever starts in Malaysia, it's wise to think of overall longterm ownership cost. I'm no EV hater but since the battery is directly under the car floor, it is prone to damage and even if slightly dented or scraped by road bumps can lead to damaged cells which can burn the whole battery. Impossible to determine which cells are damaged, therefore have to replace the whole battery pack, which almost cost like buying a new EV.

Is it safe to just depend of manufacturer's warranty? Faster sell off before warranty expires? Leave your thoughts...

My sister almost kena scammed by LHDN scammer

1) Some dude claiming to be from LHDN called my sister, from a mobile number
2) He knew my sister's name, IC number, and old house address
3) Claimed someone from Kedah used her name and IC to open a business in 2019 and owes RM26K in taxes
4) Asks my sister to record down the company name, business address, etc to seem legit
5) My sister denies any involvement
6) LHDN scammer transfers the call to "PDRM Kedah", ask her to make police report, if not in 2 hours will freeze bank account
7) "Sarjan" picks up the call, asks her what report she wants to make, so she told everything the LHDN dude told her
8) Sarjan says call is being recorded, must not have noise in background, make sure handphone have enough battery, must tell the truth etc
9) He ask whether any transaction was made using IC and personal details in past few years
10) My sister mostly thought it was genuine but had some doubts that it could be a scam
11) Call suddenly got terminated halfway, and scammers didn't call back
12) 30mins later got an electronic voice call saying got 2 more hours left before "tindakan diambil", my sister just hung up.
13) My sister calls me and explains everything, and I told her it was a scam

Lucky enough it didn't get to the part where they would have asked her to transfer money to a few separate accounts, in order for "siasatan" to be done, and to "clear" her name. I'm posting this as a public reminder not to fall for these scams, as LHDN would never call you from a mobile number, let alone ask you to make a police report over the phone.

First time owner of CVT car, any precautions?

Hi all, I've placed my booking for the new honda civic. It's going to be my first cvt car ever, and so I've heard that it's a 'manja' gearbox and not so reliable compared to conventional AT. Any tips on what I should and shouldn't do?

Among the things I've found out is :

1) don't accelerate immediately from a standstill, let the car roll forward by itself and slowly press the accelerator.
2) don't creep during jam?
3) when parking the car on a hill, place to N first, engage handbrake, then only shift to P
4) when cold starting car, let the engine rpm drop below 1k first before shifting to R.

Please feel free to correct me or add other measures. These were all from local YouTube vids, so unsure on accuracy of information. Thank you guys for the feedback.
