I am foreigner. I sold a car to someone in March 2014. Now that guy calls me back saying that he needs an Embassy certified copy of my passport. He says JPJ has changed the rule and asking for this and won't transfer the car ownership without my certified passport copy.

Can anyone confirm if this is correct or if there is a way around this?

iphone sim unlock

Is there a cheaper way to get the iphone sim unlocked?

My friend in the US sent me an iphone which he was using with AT&T contract. The contract with the carrier has already been finished. But I can't use a different sim car ie; maxis postpaid on it. it says no service.

I checked in KL lowyat IT mall, but the pricing they are asking to unlock is too high.

it is iphone 4s.

Please advise.

car loan issues

Hi,

I am a foreigner working in Malaysia for 2+ years already. I am the primary director of my sdn bhd company here and the statement is okay lah.

The problem I am facing is the bank needs the local guarantor to approve the car loan.

the car I want to buy is not that expensive. myvi which is under 60k and as a foreigner, I must pay 30% down payment which is okay for me.

The problem is guarantor, where do I get one?

I do have many local customers with good relationship, but off course no one is going to trust when it comes to bank loan where actually the bank is not trusting.

I want to ask if anyone knows any other option.

Btw, I am muslim and looking for islamic loan only.

any information or help will highly be appreciated.

the applications I received either doesn't have any experience, or a person having 2 or 3 years experience seems to be way too expensive.

Any suggestions please?

scabies infection

About 2 months ago my wife got itching problem. I didnt care much but after a couple of weeks, increased a lot. Then we went to dr ranjeet klinik in subang. The lady dr said its eczema and gave some medicine. She took medicin for a week bt the problem increased again. Then after two weeks we went back to see the same dr. She then said its not eczma. It infection or may be scabies.

Now I have also started feel same itching problem for the last one week.

I really dont like the doctors treat here. They never tell the original medicine name but keeps providing the medicine by using their own packing and reselling on gold prices.

Is there anyone who has better suggestions or may be someone has gone through scabies problem already.

I know how scabies are spread and arrive. Im more looking for a solutikn.

if management is too lazy, where do I go?

I live in Heritage Condo, the management is very lazy. don't care about anything.

in our block, we have 2 lifts, one is permanently closed (cannot use). and the remaining one works on its own mood. sometimes work, sometimes doesn't work. we have to use the stair case.

2nd major problem. Last night, the water machine damaged. Now we don't have any water in my unit. I have children with me, and it is now terrible to survive without water.

Since it is holiday, management office is closed and even if it was open, nothing would be done.

They don't care really fix these problems on permanent basis.

I requested the owner to refund the deposit money and he refused saying this is not his problem.

What should I do? I am stuck.

I tried RHB, Public Bank, Hong Leong, POS Malaysia... all have the same problem. system offline for the last 6 to 7 days now. I can't receive the payment.

Any suggestions?

Hi there,

I am newly moved to KL. I have 3 daughters age range from 5 to 8 years. I am looking for some nice schools in Klang specially. The reason is I have heard Klang is somewhat cheaper than KL. I am personally willing to move to Klang too.

To be honest, I am looking for reasonable fee structure since I have 3 daughters and I can't afford too high prices.

I am looking for Private or International schools.

Kindly help if anyone has some details.

installment plans on products from tesco/carrefour

Hi,

I have recently moved to Malaysia. I have finally settled here with my family. Off course I have sorted the visa and all the stuff. I am not sure how the installment plans work in tesco and jusco when buying some high pricing stuff like electronics or furniture etc.

they show 0% interest on 3-6 months and a little interest on higher months etc.

Can someone please explain it in detail and whats the procedure?
And being a foreigner, can I avail the facility?
