Boyfriend who is RICH but NOT loyal

I have a very close guy friend, let's call him E, and he has a girlfriend of two years, let's call her M.
E and M are still in college (almost 20), in fact they study the same course at the same college.

A lil background of E:
- came from rich family background, family do various kind of business
- despite being at young age, capable of earning money thru those online trading
- very ambitious to an extend of being a lil bit ego at times
- had many ex gf before
- often visit nightclub during the weekends
- hug and kiss girls during clubbing
- control the way M lives, ie prohibit she go clubbing, or go out with guys..

I'm not very close with M but from my impression of her she is more of a quiet and guai guai type..talk softly and all that.
- her tuition fee is fully paid by the guy's family (due to their wealth)
- basically all her expenses is covered by them
- E even gave her a bank card for her usage
- family background is average, not to say poor. both parents still around
- M is his longest on-going gf ever
- both of their family is like confirm both of them going to last til marriage already

the thing is,
since i'm a buddy to this E, and he would tell me a lot of stuff (that he probably feel proud of??) such as how sporting can he spend on branded stuff like REALLY branded stuff such as LV, Gucci, etc etc. And on top of that he even told me how many girls he has HUGGED and KISSED during happy hours with his bros.. I was like wth??

so my question is,
why would some girls tolerate such behaviors from the boyfriend?
is it simply because of money? or what?

Hi all, despite Valentine's is just around the corner..
I've a question that has been linger in my mind for quite sometimes, hope you all can share your opinions with me.

If you experienced break-up before, please do share.

My question is,
How do you consider as deal breaker before deciding to end a relationship (especially a relationship that has been last for at least 4 yrs)? Let's omit the obvious factor such as cheating..what are the other factors?

Family pressure? Financial status? Personality incompatibility?
Whats your ultimate deal breaker before deciding to end a serious long relationship? since it would be harder as it has been years and you are emotionally attached to this person. what would you do to overcome it?

Hello fellow LYN members,

I have several questions to ask here, hopefully some of you are able to shed some lights here.

1) I found out somebody has photostated past year exam papers in many copies and sell for their own profit. Can I report them? If yes, how?

2) Similar as question 1, this person has been reproducing someone else's work, such as teaching materials (flash cards) and repacking them and sell to public? Can I report them and how?

3) Is it okay if someone mark up book price by themselves whenever they like, and not following the retail price? For the same book, all other places sell for let's say RM8, only this particular person sell for RM10. Same goes for other types of book, price all has been mark up compared to all other places. Is this something wrong under the law?

Your answers will be very much appreciated!

Hi all,
me and my bf are currently in LDR, he's in UK and i'm in Malaysia.

The thing is, we only chat once each day (i mean as in video call chatting) due to the time difference.
But there's one thing that irks me alot..

I can't stand if he facebook/chat/whatsapp/talk to others WHILE talking to me.
I can sense that he is not paying full attention and sometimes just being silent there, because I guess he is busy entertaining others (not work related)

I turn in a blind eye sometimes but when it reaches my limit I'll just burst out!

Just 30mins-1 hour of full attention, is that so hard?? he can facebook all he wants for the rest of the day!
Why I can do it but he can't?

What should I do to make him not do such annoying and disrespectful act again?

Hey all, the story goes like this.

My LDR bf is coming back to malaysia soon, and we already planned to go for a vacation in october.
however, his mother, wanna campur tangan..

at first wanna help us to book hotel (but then i said no need, i can handle myself as i have been there a few times).
before i manage to book, she keep pester me to tell her which hotel i am going to book, but that time i still researching..imagine being pestered like almost every time she came online.
when i said not sure yet, and she was like trying to scare me with all the possible crimes..oh got alot of negro around that area, they will snatch ur bag, etc..etc..etc...

and just when you think this is the first time she does this. in fact no, she has done similar things before.

last time when i was about to go hatyai with my bf, she also behaved the same way.
"safe meh go hatyai? later kena bombed? hatyai very complicated...etc..etc.." padahal she just went there with her friends that time.

went genting for anniversary also same case, comment alot.

stayed longer at bf's house she also not very syiok...so late already, go back very dangerous.. (i listened to the same line until wanna puke already)

the bottomline is, whenever i got plans with my bf, she will campur tangan by "scaring" us all the possible negative outcomes.
even to the extend of when i wanna go shopping/hangout/watch movie with my bf during the weekends, she will say.. don't go la, traffic very jam, many people wan,
padahal sometimes she also go out shopping herself.
wanna go new year countdown, don't go la...many people...

i really don't understand why she always want to behave such a way?

p/s: btw my bf is not her only son. and both of us are in our mid 20's now, no longer budak budak.

i tried to sound calm and not agitated whenever she does this to me, but sometimes i think i had enough yet i don't want to sound rude to her too.

what's wrong with me?

Hey all, firstly i wanna clarify that i do not discriminate gay/lesbian.

2 months back, there was this girl (tomboy) confessed to me saying that she likes me, and of course i was super shocked and rejected her straightaway in a polite way.
however she didn't stop message me on a daily basis after that, telling me if there is a day when i change my mind, she'll always be there.
Until at a certain point i felt kinda troubled by her constant text so i replied quite harshly, asking her to stop bugging me...etc...
and so she did.

the thing is i'll bump into her at least once every week (due to my work)
i don't know why but every time i see her, i feel sorry for her, i feel really bad.
as though i shouldn't been so harsh on her..

she did stop message me for awhile until last week she texted me again, asking me to becareful on the road, take care..all that stuff...

now, i keep thinking about her...wtf?
what's wrong with me??
am i sexually confused or what?
what should i do?

How to stop feeling such way?

I've been in LDR for almost 5 months now, BF in uk doing PhD and I'm in malaysia.
Everything is okay between us so far, with occasionally small fights which usually resolve on the same day itself.

However, recently I saw a lot of my friends are either getting engaged or keep posting all those lovey dovey pics in fb (i.e: BF gave some expensive gift such as necklace, ring, iphone, etc...)
my BF never give me any expensive gift before. Alright, you might think I sound materialistic now, but then I don't really want all those stuff badly, just that, i thought this kind of gesture somehow shows that he appreciates me? Anyway I'm not desperate for necklace, jewelleries..because i don't wear this kind of stuff.

Hence whenever I see this kind of newsfeed, I feel 'sour' inside..
But I never create a scene on this petty issue with him and affect our relationship

I know it's not a good indication but I can't help it.
I didn't tell my BF about because I dunwan him to feel as if I'm complaining and comparing him with other people.

How can I stop feeling in such a way?
