But I need advice and I don&#39;t know who to turn to. I don&#39;t know if posting this is the right thing to do. But right now, I don&#39;t really know what is right and what is not, so I&#39;m going to go ahead and do it. I may change my mind by the time I finish writing this, and may not actually click the &#39;post&#39; button, but we will see.<br /><br />The story begins like this: I met <b>K</b> on the 3rd April 2015. I was a Resident Assistant (RA) in my college accommodation, and she was a new student. So I showed her to her room and gave her the keys and told her that if she has any questions, she can come see me in the lobby or call me (my number was in the welcome guide for new students). That same day, she came down because she wanted to go to school for dinner, but I didn&#39;t. So I arranged another RA to follow her to campus for dinner. After she had her dinner, I told her that we have welcome drinks at 7PM, and she is free to come down to the lobby for some free wine. To which we did. I had just finished my shift, so we had a few glasses of wine together. We clicked. Like instantly clicked. We drank and chatted from 7PM until 11PM, without realising that everyone had already left to their rooms and it was just the two of us left in the lobby. She then said &quot;Hey, its Friday, why don&#39;t we go out and party?&quot; But I couldn&#39;t because I had to work the next day at 8AM. So I said no, but promised her that I would take her out to party the next day. We said goodbye and went to our respective rooms. A few moments later, &#39;Friend Request Notification from K&#39; popped up on my Facebook.<br /><br />The next day, I didn&#39;t see her. I guess she just stayed in her room as she was pretty tipsy the night before. Then another one of her classmates from the same college back in her country, <b>O</b>, checked in. And I told O that his friend, K, is already here. The day passed with me just working. Then at 8PM, a girl walked down. She had makeup on and looked absolutely beautiful&#33; I was thinking to myself &quot;Who is that? I worked all day, and I do NOT remember checking in someone as beautiful as her&#33;&quot; This mysterious beautiful girl then came out the smoking area, where I was having a cigarette, and started talking to me, telling me that O will be coming soon. Only then did I realise this &#39;mysterious beautiful girl&#39; was actually K. But she looked so different. She was stunning&#33; So, another guy, <b>J</b>, and O met up with us. We went out, partied and got pretty wasted. I don&#39;t remember anything from that night except that I had two beers, and between the 4 of us, we had 16 Jäger shots at one go (4 each). I kinda blacked out. J passed out, so O carried him back. It was just me and K left in the club. I don&#39;t remember anything, except for a one-second flash of memory. One of me making out with K. <br /><br />I woke up the next morning, ready to work at 10AM. On my bed, alone, with the same clothes I wore when I went out partying. I don&#39;t remember anything at all, except for that one-second flash of memory. I even questioned myself wether or not it really happened, or if I was just dreaming. But I was sure it had happened. I was convinced it wasn&#39;t a dream, because it felt real. I didn&#39;t meet her again on Sunday. Again, I guess she was just hungover on Sunday and stayed in her room all day. I did check in another two more from her college in her country though, <b>U</b> and <b>E</b>. But they aren&#39;t very important characters to the story I am about to go into. Very nice people, but just not relevant to the story. <br /><br /><br />So, this was how I met K. We clicked the first day I met her. We got drunk and made out the second day. And I didn&#39;t see her on the third day. <br /><br />I&#39;ll post the next update soon. Sometime tonight. I don&#39;t have the time to at the moment. But I really need some advice. Obviously, no advice can be given at the moment because I haven&#39;t presented my problem. I clicked with the rest of her group as well, O, E, U and a B (who arrived a little late). They are all very nice people. But there was a connection between me and K. A pretty good one.<br /><br />Weekend of Week 2 went the same way. Drink, Drunk, Black Out. According to K, we both walked home alone, and left everyone else at the club. And on the walk home, I grabbed her and kissed her. I don&#39;t remember this happening at all. (<b>Note:</b> She only told me this 3 weeks ago, so for the past 3 months I was unaware this happened). And this was it. I mean, I don&#39;t really have much details to go into. We just got closer and closer.<br /><br />In Week 5, we have a 4-day weekend. I really wanted to do something with K. I asked her for the next coming days what she had planned for Week 5. Her response was always the same, &quot;I don&#39;t know, its too early for me to decide&quot;. Eventually we got into Week 4, and I decided that me and <b>J</b> would go to Barcelona together (<b>Note:</b> J is a guy, and he is gay. He was my best friend until recently we got into a fight. But, at this point in the story, he was still my best friend who was gay. He came out to me 2 years ago). Finally when it was Week 5, K said that she probably wouldn&#39;t do anything on the 4-day weekend. So I went to Barcelona with J, constantly keeping in touch with K via Facebook Messenger. Basically, I have until now only known her for 4.5 months. We became official on the 30th May. She told me that she has never told her previous boyfriends that she loved them, and that I am the first one she is saying this to. Her last serious relationship was two years ago. Now, even before we met, she had already started her application to do an internship in a cruise ship. She just started her internship two days ago. And I am having trouble coping with it.<br /><br />She doesn&#39;t get free WiFi. Even as a staff, she has to pay. So this drastically reduces our communication as after I left her two weeks ago, we would FaceTime every night. Now we can&#39;t. And because she has to pay for WiFi, she puts her phone on airplane mode to avoid receiving notifications that will charge her. So for me this is a bit tough. And she said it is for her too. <br /><br />The reason I am struggling is because last time I had a thing with a girl, <b>C,</b> and I had to leave for 6-months to do internship. Within 3 weeks, she met someone else. We were not really in a relationship, but I wanted more, and she claimed she did too. We decided that after 6-months, we will be together again. Of course, that didn&#39;t happen because she met another guy within the 3 weeks.<br /><br />The only solution <b>K</b> has is that when the ship docks and her superior allows her to leave, that she has to look for a cafe or restaurant offering WiFi, then we can FaceTime. And this doesn&#39;t have a fixed schedule. She won&#39;t know until that week wether she can leave the ship or not. So it varies. <br /><br />With that said, she just called me earlier. We spoke for about 15-minutes, but I was out and it was noisy so I told her to call me later after she is done for the day. This will be around 2AM Malaysian time, but I will stay up for it. <br /><br />My issue here now is, after what happened with C, I feel quite insecure. Today the whole day, my girlfriend K, couldn&#39;t contact me. And I am at the moment jobless, looking for a job. And because I spend my day at home, unable to contact her, my mind tends to wander into a black hole filled with negativity. I mean, from being able to see her everyday, to being able to text and FaceTime with her, to now, being so difficult to even text her because of this WiFi issue and time difference. It is so difficult for me. I don&#39;t know how to take this. I was feeling very depressed today all day until she called me. <br /><br />The problem is that even basic communication via WhatsApp is difficult. I can&#39;t visit her obviously, because she is in a cruise ship. She will finish in the middle of November, to which she said she will come visit me wherever I am in the world after she finishes her internship. Most likely I will be here in Malaysia or in Singapore. <br /><br />Additionally, I actually failed one subject in university. I have decided to spend the next few months working until she finishes her internship, so that we can go back to university together. She still has 6-months to go. I only have 3-months. We even decided that after she finishes, that we will look for a job in the same city so that we won&#39;t be apart. I know this all seems fast, but we love each other. Even my best friend has told me that she can see that K loves me so much. <br /><br />She has a busy schedule. She works 12-hours a day, 7 days a week. Its only been 2-days and I feel torn that we can&#39;t communicate so much.<br /><br />This is my problem.<br /><br />And I really need some advice on how to go through this four months without feeling so depressed and down. I tend to overthink because of what happened between me and C in the past. K is aware of my experience with C. She knows how I feel about long distance. But she told me that she wants this to work. That she wants to come visit me after her internship. And that once we both finish our studies, that we are going to live in the same city. We have planned a future together.<br /><br />Perhaps after I find a job that I will be occupied with work so I won&#39;t feel like this.<br /><br />But for the moment, my mind still wanders around thinking negative things.
