macbook's combo and powerbook's superdrive

hi all...

i'm wondering if macbook's combo and powerbook's superdrive are identical?

my friend's powerbook is dead and is willing to give it to me for parts. and i am thinking of taking the superdrive and installing it into my macbook (2.16 C2D early 2008 model).

is it possible?

does anyone knows where can i source the battery? in Malaysia, that is.

fyi, there is a new service pack update came out for the office 2008. Office 2008 SP1 update

please share your experience after using the update.
especially those who use "bulk" serial number instead of the "official" one that came with the box.
