Hi everyone,

For awareness:

My bro has been scammed in Mudah by a Chinese guy name Ronald Yang with mobile number 011-23387479.

He sold his Rolex Datejust II Wimbledon model 116333 full set with serial number G663495 at Mcdonald, Citta Mall on 03 Mar 2025, 10pm.

This scammer Ronald sent his driver to collect the watch and he made a bank transfer from HLB to my bro CIMB account. My bro checked and there was a money transaction received. The money wad added into the total balance.

His mistake is he didn't check properly on the transaction details. Only after he went back, when he checked the transaction, he noticed it was a house cheque transaction. Problem is House cheque transaction can be bounced in 3 working days.

He contacted the scammer Ronald but the scammer has blocked him and deleted all messages. Luckily, he managed to screenshot all messages and took photos of the person that collected the watch.

Police report has been made.

For those Watch resellers and enthusiasts, please BEWARE of the stolen watch with serial number G663495. Cash reward will be given to anyone that found the watch.

Hi, I will be traveling to Langkawi from KL on 30th Dec. Do I need to do PCR test prior to the flight departure?

I've checked in AirAsia website, it doesn't state any travel requirement for domestic travel from KUL to LGK. I presume, no need to do PCR test?

But ask here, just in case.

Question: Extension of Spouse Visa

Hi, a question to those whom had gone through the process of renewing spouse visa with MY immigration dept.

Situation:
- My wife has 6 months multiple entry visa (printed on her passport) that will expire on end July 2019;
- Her passport expiry date is early Apr 2020 - she must renew her passport before Oct/Nov 2019;
- She has return flight e-ticket to Thailand on July 2019;
- We intend to apply for extension of her spouse visa 30 days before visa expiration - somewhere in June 2019.

Question:
1) Should she renew her passport in Thailand first, then only go to MY IMI to apply for extension of spouse visa
OR
2) Go to MY IMI to apply for extension of spouse visa, then return to Thailand to renew her passport?

3) If she proceed with (2), is she require to return to MY IMI to reprint the visa sticker on her new passport?

She is reluctant to go with (1) because we will need to spend more $$ to buy another return flight ticket for her to go back and renew her passport first.

Alternately, is it OK to apply for extension of spouse visa AFTER the lapsed of existing 6 months visa?

- my wife is Thai citizen;
- has 6 months long term visa in Malaysia;
- has driving licence in Thailand before, but already expired more than 3 years.

Single Status Cert. Translation to Thai Language

Hi all, I will be marrying my girlfriend of Thai nationality.

Read here that I will need to go through 3 steps to apply for Single Status Certificate:

1) Statutory declaration – swear your oath @ Istana Kehakiman (Palace of Justice)

2) Apply for the certificate of single status @ JPN (NRD Headquarter)

3) Get the certificate endorsed by Wisma Putra (Ministry of Foreign Affair)

Just wondering, after I got the certificate endorsed, do I need to get the document translated into Thai language?
If yes, where can I get the translation service. Read somewhere on the net, the document must be translated by certified party.

Please advise, thanks!
