Hi guyz,

My company is currently considering a limited number of 19" TFT LCD for Senior Management staffs. The thing is, our current Desktop system unit (CPU) is DELL Optiplex 755 Minitower (Pentium Dual-Core CPU) which only have a maximum built-in video resolution of 1280 x 1024. Most of the 19" LCD, especially Samsung have a native resolution of 1440 x 900 and above. My current favorite is Samsung 943BWX[ which also supports both RGB and DVI interface.

My questions are:

1. Is it possible for this desktop system to use the monitor without upgrading the video card (resolution wise)?
2. If its possible, how would be the viewing experience, will it be easy on the eye or will the image distort or something?

Hopefully any sifu or someone can share their experience on this. Thanks.

Require Audio Driver for Compaq Presario V3521TU

Hi all,

Need a little favour here. My friend bought this notebook yesterday and due to applications/software compatibility issues, need to install Windows XP Pro. The thing is, Compaq/HP did not provide drivers for Win XP on this model. I've painstakingly dowloaded them from several websites but still unable to find the right driver for the audio. Btw I've managed to install the Microsoft UUAA Bus Driver for HD Audio, so I guess it only comes down to the audio driver itself.

This notebook currently using Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset. I've tried several Conexant HD Audio driver for various HP/Compaq but to no avail as well. I guess Microsoft/HP/Compaq really sucks!
