Hi guys, was wondering if any one uses any cad application on any linux distro. Looking for recommendation. The prerequisite for the cad software is mainly able to do volume calculation.

Choppy video and sound from desktop

Hi,

I'm facing any issue with my pc. It doesnt play/stream any media well

Sound and video is all very choppy. When I move the mouse I can see that it isnt smooth.

I've install and reinstall the sound and the gpu driver

I've updated to the latest bios

It randomly goes away. Sometimes the pc will start like this

currently my setup is as below

ryzen 5 1500x
Biostar x370gtn
gigabyte G1 RX470
16 gb of Ram

PC wont start after installing new gpu

Hi I just purchase a 2nd hand GPU and was trying to install it on my pc.. When I switch on the PC the cpu fan n the gpu fan started to move but then it stop. I plug the gpu out and then the pc can work like normal. I searched online and it seems there is a short circuit on the system. How do I solved the problem? The GPU minimum system requirement is 400 w while i have a 450 w psu...

I am using this cable to power the gpu

I realise the molex ends only have 3 inserts and the 6 pin end has one missing like here

Hi I am planning to swap out my old mobo with a new one currently using an Intel DH61SA and planning to swap it with a ASROCK H61M-VS3.. What prep do I need to do? I read somewhere that if the chipset is the same a straight swap is possible with minimal problems i.e problems with driver etc

Hi guys any one of you had or is having this problem where the BB apps world keep on asking you to update your BB identity and when you tried to update the loading counter doesn't load. Then the app world can't work.

Any solution that you have personally tried? The thing is kinda annoying as I can't download anything from the apps world.

Missing Files in my HD

Hi all,

Some of my Files in my external HD is missing/ hidden due to a worm (If i'm not mistaken) There is a %Recycle.BIN in my HD and Ithink that is the root of the problem. I've done a lil bit of research and it says that it is part of the Autorun.inf virus. The problem is that I don't see the autoran.inf file in my hd even if I use the show hidden files.

I have scanned through my laptop by using the Avast, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and the eset online scanner. Everytime I scan my external HD, there is no infected files or virus in it.

My question is, can I use the same method as the video below to remove the virus ($recycle.bin) even if there is no autorun.inf? Is there any way to get my files back (Missing folder is my movies folder)? Any other way to remove the virus?

Really need advice and opinions on this matter
