J.cheerios

J.cheerios

I started this blog in August 2009, as an ordinary high school student, to document every single detail of my life. Merely intending to follow the trend, this blog appeared to be rather boring then. I used to complain about life, family, and literally everything that was against my wish, my want, and my need. It was not until much later on that I finally changed my mind, and it was then that I decided to improve my blog for the better, by observing how any other great bloggers manage their blogs, from designs to ways of blogging.

By now, this place has been slowly transformed into a travelogue of my adventures, big and small, near and far, because that is how strong my passion is for travel. Oh, and food! By reason of my love towards my current study field, my travel companion(s) often need not worry much about the travelling destinations and accommodations, sometimes transportation as well. All they ever need to prepare is a brain to think, a mouth with a pair of ears to discuss, and responsibility to travel. It is that simple!

Certainly, there is still a lot of rooms for improvement on this blog in all aspects. If you have any questions, criticisms, suggestions, or just want to say hello, send me an email at min92min@hotmail.com or leave your comment(s) below.

P/S: I am currently on a project, which explains the increasing number of food posts recently.

OLDTOWN White Coffee, Subang Avenue: What's next?

Original text is deleted.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I've just talked to the manager today, and everything's solved. Everything's good, and we're both happy.

If you were to wonder what I actually want, I'm here to be clear. I do not demand anything from the manager, the outlet, or OLDTOWN White Coffee. My intention was to let them know that their staffs behaved in such a way to us, when we did not do anything that breach their rules and regulations. It's just as simple as that. I chose to email them because I rarely visit that area, or you could as well say that I don't go there. It's far from where I am at. It's the very first time I faced such a case and I did not know which way to go for, that's why I came here to ask for opinions.

Yes, I asked my parents and boyfriend for their opinions, but that definitely didn't mean that I would follow whatever they said, because I have made a decision myself before that, which I wasn't sure whether I should take that move or not. I was purely asking for opinions, not decision-making. Please be clear. So I ended up here, to collect more opinions from you guys, which obviously it didn't help at all.

What I asked was never answered. Basically, I was just answering the other questions coming from you, about the moment when I was still at the outlet. You mentioned about library, so I answered, and then you questioned me for blaming OLDTOWN White Coffee because there's no library around, when I didn't take that step at all. Now, who's the ridiculous one?

People who called me immature, spoiled brat, you're nothing better than me, it seems.

If you thought that I was here for attention, well, why were you giving me that attention in the first place? You could have just shut up and leave. If you thought that I was here to look for support, you might as well just ignore my thread and let it sink, no? Look who's the one talking.

I wasn't at fault during my visit, and I swear I didn't do anything wrong at all. I was just asking if it would be worthy to make that trip just to meet the manager. Unfortunately, many of you couldn't read well. Too bad.

Apparently, retarded people are everywhere in this forum. If you know literally nothing about what customer service is all about, you might as well just leave the space to anyone who knows. Useless.

Anyway, thank you very much to those who have shared their experiences over here. I truly appreciate those.

Serious Car Accident

During break time today (around 12.30pm) traffic jam occurred somewhere near Jaya One, Petaling Jaya and I heard that it was caused by a serious accident, which a motorcyclist was covered with white cloth by police (probably died but I'm not sure) and part of the motor was crashed into pieces. Another white, supposedly Proton car was involved as well.

I heard all those from my friends. Anyone knows about it?

Hi guys! I need help to solve the Maths question below. I've been spending quite some time doing it with my boyfriend but both of us couldn't get to come out with a solution at all, not even his friends.

As stated, this is under the chapter Indices and Logarithms. Not SPM level, but my boyfriend's college.

Your help would be much appreciated.
Kids nowadays!

My true story!

I attended a camp last Friday and Saturday in one of the primary schools, which it's obviously for kids from that primary school itself.

1. As I passed by one of the kids, he said to me with his finger pointing at a girl, "Just call her as 'B Cup'! Hahaha!"

2. There're quite a few Indian girls and an Indian guy among those kids. This boy had been constantly saying to one of those Indian girls, "What for you wash your hands? No matter how you wash they're still as black and as dirty!"

3. We had prepared several activities for the kids, which they had to go stations by stations. One of those stations was that they're required to climb a rope with us adults supporting them below. There's this girl who's like a head taller than most of the kids. As she climbed up and came down, one of the boys shouted, "HAHAHA YOU'RE TOO FAT ALREADY!"

4. They never respected us adults, even though they're calling us "Teacher" or "Trainee".

There're more but those 4 stated above are the main ones. Seriously, what's wrong with the kids nowadays? We warned them whenever they did such things or scolded them if warnings were given a few times but their face changed as if it's our faults.

This boy even said to me, "All of us who're in Standard 6 are not pure at all."

One more thing I've seen myself was a girl kicked a guy's private part just because she didn't like what the guy said to her - which was, "You're so violent!". The guy cried alone for the ultimate pain until we realized that and talked to them separately. She's not even Standard 6 but her attitude could already kill a guy.

Additional:
1. Another thing was these girls (the sisters), their parents purposely bought them a modern tent just because they didn't want their daughters to squeeze with any other girls in the same tent. I was like WTF?! It's a camp, hello?

2. When they're punished by someone with a higher position than us, they got excited instead. HUH?!

Nice, affordable food in/around Jaya One!

I'm currently working in Jaya One and I always have no idea what to eat because everywhere is like so expensive. When I say affordable, I mean between RM10 per person per meal besides Old Town. It's so far the worst Old Town franchise I've ever been. As far as I know a lot of restaurants here are hidden and I can hardly waste my time just to look for one better place for lunch. I only have one hour of lunch break just like any of you. My colleagues are all Malays so they couldn't recommend me any nice Chinese food here.

Advice needed!
