Hello everyone,

Need opinions/advice on a case I'm facing.

I contacted a merchant who sells PC components and also assemble it for you. Let's call the merchant Seller. We agreed on a build with certain components. Let's call it Item A, Item B & Item C too keep it simple. There are also other components involved, but let's focus on only a few.

Because Item C is not yet available, we agree that I will deposit money to preorder Item C. I will deposit for the other component after Item C arrive. I deposited a small amount of money to preoder Item C. Seller agreed to send invoice after confirm received my deposit.

After a few days, Seller finally sent me the invoice, however I realize Item A and Item B is missing and has been replaced with other brands.

I contacted Seller to seek clarification. Seller reply that Item A is not available. Item B was changed to match Item A. Take note that I wasn't informed about this at all prior to receiving the invoice.

I'm okay with the alternatives to Item B, but I did not want the alternative to Item A written in the invoice, and Seller doesn't have stock of other brands. I decided to just take Item C and try to source Item A somewhere else. I will then buy the other components from Seller after I get Item A or alternatives that I want.

However Seller will not let me; Seller said Item C cannot be sold standalone (I need to order a build) and I will need to wait until the end of the month (July or even early August) for the next batch. Seller mention that a lot of people wants Item C and it is limited in stock.

My question; is this acceptable? If a seller is unable to fulfill the agreement then I think the customer should be informed first before sending the invoice with different specification. Also, about Item C; Seller argument is that preorder for Item C is only for those looking to buy a complete PC. However Seller could not get me Item A, which we agreed earlier. That is reason why I do not want to proceed with the build. So does it warrant me to be put into the queue again?

Seller did mention that the money could be refunded, so it's not really a lost.

[WTA]Arguement Over Game Consoles

Hello there everyone. This is kinda serious talk related to games, so putting it here since I'm not sure which board is applicable. Starting this as I'm having problems;

I own all 3 game consoles; Wii, PS3 an an Xbox360. Both Wii and Xbox360 are placed in the living room while the PS3 is in my room. My problems start when I sold off my old modded Xbox360 for the slim, unmod Xbox360 with Kinect.

A relative of mine is very pissed that I sold the modded Xbox360 as he can no longer play his pirated games. He is still studying despite being older; I save my college money to buy the old Xbox360 and worked for more than 2 years to get the other 2.

I told him he can buy second-hand or rent games if he wants to play. He retaliate with threats; either I get back the mod Xbox360 or he will;
- sold my Wii or any other property I own to fund his crave (We are Muslim and shouldn't this be considered duit haram?)
- break into a fit of violence and physically hurt me and/or destroy my property (including those consoles)

I refuse to bow down to such petty threats, but the only solution I can come up is selling off all of those games thats causing too much friction between us. We're over 20 yet it feels like he's a kid demanding stuff that he thinks is his. But by doing so I will deprive my niece and younger relatives who enjoys playing Wii.

For your info, I bought the Kinect for this upcoming Raya gathering to play with my relatives.

So I ask everyone if they have any better idea? I dont want things to go downhill between us and my niece is looking forward to Kinectimals. I was looking for some of security devices but they don't cater for gaming consoles

Any advice, opinions or feedbacks will be much appreciated

Details of the complaint : On October 27 2010 I saw his eBay listing and contacted him both email and SMS. He replied my SMS. From the way he talked he sounded like an experience seller. Anyway after agreeing I went ahead and bought the item on eBay, later I deposited the money into his bank account. He confirmed that he received the money, and later on informed me that he had shipped the item. He also said that he will send me the scanned copy of the shipping receipt.

But that never happened. So the same day I sms him for the tracking number, which he did gave me. He even said that 'it will be online'. The next day (28/10/2010) the item did not arrive, so I sent a few sms which he totally did not reply, but he did reply my mail, saying that it will be delivered the next day, before 11am.

So I waited until today (29/10/2010) but still nothing. So again I SMS and emailed but this time he totally ignored it. I feel i have become a victim.

Now I see that he has a few negative feedback; I feel bad for not leaving a feedback earlier to avoid others from becoming like me.

To everyone reading this, appreciate your advice on how to handle this. I have sent a message to eBay's support and am waiting for their reply.

I suspected the reason the replied was to postpone me from leaving a negative feedback, thus allowing him to bait more victims.

Need Help

Hello everyone.

I'm new to the WoW. After playing with the trial account and liking it, I decided to upgrade to standard account. I purchase it digitally (at Blizzard's site, using a debit card)

At first it was okay, I can login and play. But today I couldn't login. Blizzard sent me an email saying my Trial Account upgrade had failed. Now they are totally locking me out of my account

I've called my card centre and they say that the payment is still being processed. In Blizzards email they stated that I can only call them (US? How much will it cost?) to rectify this issue. They can't help me through emails

What should I do? I really like to game and want to continue playing. Have any of you guys had this problem before?

Hope sifoos out there can help me
