Nuiscance of Telemarketer

In recent years, telemarketers are contacting me too much.
Like almost every Friday they will call.

In last year, when I pick up the call, the line is terminated.
I got fedup of it, so I no longer pickup. When I see a number that
my phone is not registering, then I immeidately cancel and block it.

This is not ssmart I know. Especially if there is a real bank people calling,
or a long lost friend trying to contact etc.

I am not sure whether the MCMC can do something about this?
I got more than 100 numbers blocked on my phone. But it seems
it don't matter, the telemarketers seems to be using another number instead.

It is really annoying. And disturbing our work and personal life. Is there anything
we can do?

Maxis One Share

Recently i subscribed to Maxis One Prime (together fibre).

i am using maxis share line and the prime is given to my wife.
but i notice there was a "usage charges" under my number for god knows what.

I have opted to eBill, so i don't know why maxis does not auto matically give me
detail bill. because I need to know from where this charges come from.

i do not buy apps, i do not subscribe to anything else thru sms. the charges has been
varying every months so far (3 months so far) - rm4.12, rm10, rm12.23 something like this.

Something is wrong here. i think maxis should ask for confirmation EVERY TIME other
people want to charge money to its users. This is common sense. MAXIS, PLS PAY ATTENTION
OR I WILL UNSUBSCRIBE.

I regret getting married

i think marriage is overrated. it carries a huge burden. you need to provide
for your family members and let go of your own needs and wants sometimes. kids are cute
when they're little but when they grow up, they make you go crazy. i guess kids
are a reflection of yourself - made you see your own self in them. in short you will
hate yourself.

if i had known what marriage is like, i'd probably not get married at all.
it is better to live alone, work as a volunteer somewhere, doing charity, in weekends,
that is more fulfilling.

Why many slow cars and lorries in middle lane?

I think only recently that I start noticing there are many slow cars and lorries in the middle lane.

Often I ended up using the most left lane to cruise at a comfortable speed of 80 when mid lane
is doing a mere 60!

I wish traffic police would patrol the road and ask these mid lane drivers to move to most left lane
since they're so slow. Sigh!

How much does your mattress cost

I bought a few mattress before. Among the price that i paid for queen size mattress:

first one: abt RM700.
second one: abt RM900.

both are not to my satisfaction. always back ache. so finally i went and go crazy
and buy RM3.5k Getha mattress. it is the best decision i ever made. i am not sure
but i think i might get cheaper price for similar comfort. but really it is so important
to have good mattress.

From my experience, you will never be satisfied with your job. Jobs involves people. And there are always
bound to be people who are assholes. It affects you more if the asshole is your boss.

If you find a job that has nice people in it, there are also assholes clients, assholes people from other dept, etc.
And without knowing, you also could be one of the assholes.

So to be satisfied with your job, to me, we need to find one with good money, with strict working hours policy, and just do your job.
And not chasing rank/money. Just glide with the job peacefully.

What is definition of job satisfaction to you?

Unifi Installer charge

I recently installed Maxis Fibre 30mbps and had to pay rm350 for the "custom" installation by TM installer.
the maxis (maxpert) is there as well, and they both seem to know each other well based on their chit chats that i hear.

the funny thing is this "custom" installation had to be done because apparently there is no pathway from the underground
manhole to my house. they said they cannot find the hole. i tried to check myself but what do i know about these things?

and the custom installation too, is just
- 3 holes drilled.
- laying down the wire and secure with wire holders.

for RM350!!!!

no cement, no construction work of any kind. for such things i can do for anyone for free. i just don't get it why the companies
like TM and Maxis does not define this "custom" installation properly and left it as "grey area". it opens up to corruption and extortion
towards the customers. sure its a one-off payment, but rm350 for such job is cutthroat.

WTA: Astro upgrade byond dcoder free?

This morning a guy from astro (as he claimed) told me that astro is offering free upgrade to byond decoder for free since i am using the very old decoder (yr 2001 one )

he told me everything is free. even monthly bill remains same as before. this is a good deal i think and i said yes.

just to ask any of u know of this offer direct to customer? is there any hidden charges or its for real?

Hyperemesis

Hi all.

Me and wife just got pregnant. And sadly, doc just diagnosed my wife with Hyperemisis G.
It is that terrible and sever condition of nausea and vomiting non stop. As for my wife,
even plain water causes her to vomit till there is practically nothing in her stomach...
still she is vomiting out air and acid.

Long story short, it is so terrible and she was hospitalized for 2 weeks.

Now we're back at home, but the condition is not any better. Doc gave
this mediciine Zofran which seem to work a little bit (ease the nausea until
food can stay inside stomach)

I tried to find this drug at pharmacies but not available. Does anybody know
where I can find this drug? As a husband, I feel so helpless, looking my wife
suffer like this just to have our first baby. It is a torture to her and myself.

Anybody experienced this before, do share your stories.

I've started this blog for over 2 years, and it has been gaining popularity.

The file downloads are reaching 10K for each file.

But now I am just using MediaFire.com which does not pay for any downloads.
Can you share with me, which host give the better pay rate per download
for such purpose?

Hi all,

I am a freelance software developer. On the side, I have some blogs that gets a total of 100K visits up to date.
(Daily visits not that much )

Anyway, I saw some other people's blog where when you click the photo to make it bigger, an ads normally will
popup together. Surely this is considered as ad clicks.

My Q:

1. Is this legal to do?

2. If it is legal, HOW to do it? I am not really verse in javascript / website making.
