Hey guys, just opening up this thread so that anyone who wanna repair their lumias without warranty can just come in and ask for suggestion

Pffft, having problem with my lumia 920, every shop stating that Lumia is not worth to repair (Working phone with no display)

Do leave a suggestion on where to get Lumias fix

[WTA] Connecting laptop to tv via hdmi

As mentioned in topic above, does connecting laptop to tv (for larger screen purpose etc) does harm to laptop hardware?
in this case, im using 18.5" inch tv/monitor

Just before my laptop die, window prompt me saying there is problem regarding my display followed by attempting recovery (Asus A42j). After auto restart, screen just stay blank

Solution tried
- testing each ram / ram slot
- changing display mode fn + f8 (there is reaction on tv/monitor, but still blank, motherboard/processor is not dead)

1. Do i need to change whole motherboard or is there a solution by only repairing display card?
2. Just for my awareness on further laptop usage, is it good/bad/no-harm if i connect a laptop to a tv?
