Increase / remove rev limiter

I'm having trouble increasing the rev limit on a Civic 2.0L (2005) with auto tranny,
piggyback is a GReddy E-manage Ultimate.

The goal is to increase the 6800 rev limit to 8500 rpm. Engine already modded to be able to
handle the revs... just can't get pass the ECU limiter

Anyone done before on their car (doesn't matter the brand),
please share knowledge/info/etc...
