Dear forummers,

I would like to enquire which is the cheapest to send out SMS? Something like those blast service but don't worry I'm not using it to spam.

I'm in a building management service, the system will need a prepaid card to send out SMS to technicians and engineers in case of any emergency breakdown/warning.

Hence it need to sent out quite substantial number of SMS. It will only for SMS purpose (not calling/data/others).

Valentine's day Gift and Dinner Suggestion

This year have been great so far and thanks to the advice of fellow forumers here, I've managed to progress quite far. We started holding hands and cuddling when meet each other.

But I have never really ask her officially and plan to do so this Valentine's day. Even ask officially it's between 2 of us, hoping to pluck our first kiss

So I need suggestion please on dinner location and present for her. I already prepare 1 bouquet of flowers (12 stalk which means be my girl) now looking for good atmosphere to pop the question. Budget for dinner RM200-250 if applicable. RM300 max I can go but better stick to that as I still need get a gift.

Presents are another headache part. I'm a practical person so I would like for the gifts to be of some use. I'll handmade a cake since she likes DIY stuff. But I looking for presents to go along. I never bought a gift for girl before. From her taste, she likes hats and wanted a new shoes. But fashion stuff very subjective so I think I'll scrap that. She don't fancy jewelry either. For gift I'm looking around RM100 max.

Guess I'll be lavishing about RM500 this valentine including for flowers. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks

iPhone4S full bar signal cannot/receive call & sms

I own an Iphone4S (from Singapore). Recently it has such problem :

1. Phone signal full bar but unable to receive or make call.
2. Cannot send and receive sms
3. When try to call someone (can't call), the screen will hang at end call.

Already tried restore (twice) with backup. Any advice on what's the problem.

Should I try clean restore then? without backing up but if so will i lose my contacts then? or I can retrieve from iCloud?

It'll be a hassle to claim waranty also from Singapore, and since it's on and off scared can't proof it when want claim and hence wasted my time to Singapore.

Car involve in hit and run

Need help to provide information if any of you guys spotted the following car : Black Myvi WNH 8088

Suspected drunk driving and was involve in a car accident just now around 12am at Damansara Uptown near pappa rich.

Bang 3 cars and left the front bumper and headlamps behind yet drove off. Hence should be easier to spot as of now.

If any of you can provide the location of the driver that will be perfect.

Friend decided not to police report as her car only minor scratch (do not want the hassle of losing her car for some time) but another Myvi and Wira was badly damage.

Previously confessed and blew it (rejected in a kind way as she said not ready yet). With my intentions shown, I consistently repeat the 5s and I think she kinda moved by it.

During New Year's Eve, I brave myself and brought her to a romantic date where we went to countdown for new year and to see fireworks.

1. I hold her hand and didn't let go for 2 hours.
2. She was lying on my chest as she was tired awaiting for the fireworks.
3. We hug each other (around 5 sec?) and wish each other happy new year

So i thought that finally my patience paid off, and after dropping her home i thank her for making my new year celebration a memorable one. She replied "sorry ya, the night could be more memorable but there is something troubling me that is pulling me back" which I guess she's still not ready to commit (her previous bf treat her quite bad and she's got another pursuer that kinda scares her from relationship)

From then onwards
1. I bravely call her dear (before this i only type that in msg), though she didn't response anything (there's 1 time she replied dear back in her msg)
2. I hold her hands when there's opportunity (not in front of friends as she'll act cool about it, though most of her friends suspected)

So I'm not sure are we consider a couple? should i talk to her about it cause technically i never confess this time around. I've been the one that initiate most though eg holding hands, telling her i love her etc.

Her best friend also wished me congrats on fb which i suspect she told her about us. But i never been getting any firm answer from her aside the msg above. Sorry if i sounded noob, but this is my first serious relationship with a girl. And no I'm no teen or 2", already been in working life for 1/2 years.

Patience vs Better Chance

I've been courting this girl A for about half a year now and decided to confess 1 month ago, sadly she said she's not ready yet. She still going out regularly with me and I've been honest that each outing is a date which I treasure very much. The frequency of us meeting up also getting higher. But from our deep conversation at times, she don't seem to be able to let go of her sad relationship last time around and very afraid of committing another. And as much as I hope she can accept me I don't see her getting ready until at least another year. I did tell her I willing to wait. Somehow things were going great and we chat/go out frequently.

Then came B who is ex-colleague of mine. Before this she did randomly ask for a dinner outing alone with her which at that time I just treat it a get-together dinner. She started whatsapp me randomly asking how am I and also ask for movie/trips. But as my work was busy this 1/2 months somehow I rejected her invitation and didn't think much of it. Yesterday she whatsapp me to ask me out again. As I was quite down from work, I did spend some time chatted with her. Somehow she make her advancement and ask what's my opinion of her. I did say she's nice and lovely which I'm being honest. Then she ask me would I consider her, I answered perhaps we should go out more often together she seems happy and thank me for giving her the chance.

Honestly speaking, I have stronger feelings with A but somehow B isn't as bad as an option to try out (though she's elder than me like 2 years). So if you were in my shoe, which one you choose? I feel bad if I'm dating one behind the other's back though I have no obligation to tell as I'm actually still single. I don't like the feeling of cheating. As I'm still new in the relationship thing, before this I don't care much as I prefer to focus more on career and friends, so I'm really not sure what to do. Kind advice is wanted. Thanks.

Connect wireless modem to wired router

Is it possible for me to set up wireless connection + ability to use LAN cable if i were to use wireless modem paired with cable router?

Thus far I googled, all the pairing is using cable modem with wireless router.

If yes, what's the connection like? preferably with any pictures would be helpful thanks.

Below connection correct?

phone line to wireless modem --> lan cable from modem to router (plug to internet port?) --> lan cable to PC (for wired network) --> set up WIFI account

Hi, actually I've been following lyn for some time but didn't register account before this. Hope you people can advice on my situation. I've read the 5s and i did all that and can see continuous progress. Below is my story :

I’ve know this girl since secondary but didn’t talk much then. So I met up with her mid last year through mutual friends gathering.
From then onwards we kind click and been chatting frequently (at that time she has boyfriend and I have no intention whatsoever). So the connection grew and she broke up with his boyfriend towards end of the year (mind you, I’m not the problem).

Cut long story short, we’ve been hanging out quite frequently and chatting quite a lot. So these are some of the signs that she might have a feeling with me
• Never reject any invitation from me thus far. From fetching her from work, lunch, dinner, yam cha, badminton, day trip. Some is 1 on 1, some with mutual friends.
• SMS/chat/email me on everyday basis, though some of the conversation I initiate as well.
• Bake me cupcakes during my birthday (along with her 2 friends). But according to her friends, she was very excited to plan my surprise birthday celebration.
• Allow me to drive her car
• We meet at least once every week
• She's willing to come out and meet my friends (some she have not met before) when I have yam cha session

So some of you might be thinking, heck you’ve got a pretty good chance there. But whenever I ask her about her previous relationship, she’ll either ask me to change topic or she’ll be moody. I also ask which of guys she’s into, she also don’t answer me. But there’s once she did told me her previous relationship was very stressful and sad as the guy is a bad-tempered person and always scold her even she did nothing wrong.

So happen this guy is a Leo (which of course I am too), so she got this assumption that all leo having the similar traits . She also told me she’s not ready for relationship yet. And I also think due to the fact that we’ve been so close to each other that I got friend-zoned instead. Now she always call me gor gor and I’m afraid she’s thinking the same way too, just an elder bro who always take care of her *more *.

She always hides all her feelings even to her close friend. And she seldom open up. When she’s sad, I can’t do anything about it even I did offer to share her sorrow. So question now is how do I break the barrier? I might be too slow to take action already and she is still always frightful of relationship.
My friend told me to be patience. But I can’t stop thinking about her everyday. Can anyone advice what to do next? Thank in advance.
