Budget gaming PC build

Hi all,

Was looking for a build that is around 4K budget that will be used for gaming (Dota2, PUBG, Apex Legends) on 1080p 60-75hz mainly and exclude peripherals. Below are the specs that i come up with by myself:

Ryzen 2600X
Asrock B450 Pro4
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x 8GB 3000MHz C16
GIGABYTE GTX 1660 TI WINDFORCE OC 6GB
Adata XPG SX8200 pro 256GB
WD Blue 1TB

[WTA] GPU cooler alternatives

Hi all,

My SAPPHIRE R9 280X Dual-X fan is dying and its making a lot of noises recently. The warranty is already expired and i can't seems to find any replacement fan in Malaysia.

I was considering aftermarket GPU cooler NZXT Kraken G10 and X31 but it was kind of out of my RM400 budget plus it was hard to find someone who sell it in Malaysia.

One thing to noted is that R9 280X has the die height differences which makes it harder to look for a compatible GPU cooler. So, is there any other alternatives other than NZXT Kraken combo?

Hi all sifus, i am building a working rig for my brother, he mainly use it for geographical purpose, like using Google Earth or some other mapping program which i do not familiar with. The budget is 4k including a fairly big monitor (preferably 27" or above), no need for other peripherals, must be smooth enough to navigate around the mapping program, budget can be increase if needed. Thanks for any recommendation.

Got an i7-3770k for some time now, wouldnt be able to use it due to no $$ to build the rig. Currently have 2.5k to build it finally.

Hi all sifu, after some research i came out with these:

Intel i7 3770k
Asus P8Z77 V Pro
Corsair Vengeance LP 1600Mhz
1tb WD Blue
Corsair AX650W
Asus GTX680 DCII OC
Noctua D-14
HAF XM

Is these ok? Will it bottleneck each other? Or is it overkill? Need some suggestion as im buying it this week. Thank you

Getting new rig

Hi all sifu, planning a new rig, got two component already, cant figure out the rest, budget below 2.5k, mostly for gaming. Exclude monitor and peripheral.

Currently got these:
Intel Core i7-3770k
Intel 520 SSD 180GB

Hi, my friend are planning to get a GC for his rig, his current setup is:

Intel Core 2 Duo processor
450w power supply
4gb RAM
Asus p series mobo(not sure which one, only with a 16x pcie slot)
1080p monitor

His budget is below RM500, he wish to play Dota 2 with high setting with stable frame rate. So hope all sifu can help.

Hi all sifus, planning to build a gaming rig this month, budget is 2.5k exclude graphic card (gonna buy it later) and peripheral, CFX/SLI ready, overclockable. Below is my some of my own idea:

Crucial M4 128GB SSD RM390

Hope can get some advise or recommendation on other parts . By the way, will the HD4000 of Intel Core i5 3570K suffice enough to run Diablo 3, Dota2 at the moment without lag? Also is it advisable for a 1st timer to assemble all these himself?

-Spec = Mid-High end
