Hi,

I just bought the above router with intention to totally replace Maxis Technicolor router as I can't never get my dyndns to work with this device. I just tried running a quick setup but can't seem to get it to make a WAN connection. Have anybody tried this router before? If yes, can you share to properly setup this thing? TIA.

http://www.dlink.com.my/dsl-g2452dg/

Dlink DSL-2640B can't detach antenna

Hi everyone,

I just got a Dlink modem/router for my Streamyx account. It is a Dlink DSL-2640B but problem is, the wifi coverage in my house is very limited using its built-in antenna. I read the manual which said this model has a detachable antenna but I can't seem to be able detach it. I want to replace the antenna with a more powerful one but it looks like the antenna is moulded into the casing.

It is because the model that is supplied by TM do not has a detachable antenna or is there a special way to do this?

Thanks for any info.

Hi,

I just bought a Maxtor OneTouch III 1 TB USB/Firewire ext drive. My PC unfortunately only have USB ports (Dell Dimension E520). Can anyone suggest what which Firewire card can I can buy around KL to add 1394a (Firewire 400) and 1394b (Firewire 800) capabilities to my PC. Another thing is I'm running Microsoft Vista Home Premium so I need one that is compatible with the OS.

Any suggestions is really appreciated.
