Hi guys,yest i press Fn+ power up for the pre-boot system asessment, and it comes up with this error,

Error code: 0142
Msg Error : 2000-0142
Ms: Hard drive 0_self tested uncessful,
status : 79

is that really means my hdd is dying soon?
and will this error cause my laptop shutting down itself without warning ?
cause while i trying to run on adobe software, or playing my fav game [Comapyn of heroes],it will 'pop' shuts down which it could be runnning smooth last time.

hope anyone who is expert in this case can help me ...either i need a heat sink replace or hdd replace.....

ps:i had clear the dust from the fan, and also re-apply thermal paste, wont help much,just the temperature not spike as fast as last month.

May i ask where i can buy the thingy like this ?

its found while i am cleaning up my dusty laptop, found it on every chip together with the thermal paste.
anyone from computer shop or anyone pro can tell me where i can buy this things and replace for my laptop?

Bought SPLINTER CELL:DOUBLE AGENT today,but it prompts this message ,may i ask what's the problem actually?
Does anyone kkoe wat happend ??
